So I got tired of paying $5 for frappucinos and thought I'd try to make my own. It turned out really good.

It's a decaf, nonfat soy sugar free frappucino. It was quite good for my first time, and significantly less expensive than buying them at Starbucks. Plus it's alot healthier, with no fat, no caffeine and no sugar. The only sugar in the entire thing was in the whipped cream.

I've never been a huge fan of cold coffee. To me, it was like warm beer - just things that should not be. I tasted my daughter's one morning, though, and was hooked.

It looks excellent!
I have a good recipe for a fattening one, if you decide you want it.

For a large glass, I use 2/3 c whole milk, 4-6 tsp good quality instant coffee, or half that amount of instant espresso powder, 2 tbsp sugar, 3-4 tbsp chocolate syrup, and 12 or so regular size ice cubes. I throw it all in the Ninja blender that I have, and add a good sized dollop of Whipped cream (I like it blended in, rather than on top). Note, this makes a pretty large glass, so for just a regular serving, I'd cut the recipe in half. It's mocha flavored, which is my favorite, but carmel is great too, just substituing carmel topping for the chocolate syrup.
