I hope the world will remember the great leadership we have shown since WWII. (1 Viewer)

Yeah. I blame Obama and his helmets, which he must have expected Ukrainians to throw at invading Russians. 🤷‍♂️

Empowering Iran’s hardliners? Joe released billions of dollars to people supporting international terrorism. Even if that money is restricted to humanitarian goods, money is fungible. These Democrats are all morons.

I’ve noticed a pattern, however. It’s always the respectable establishment types (the ones with the polished Ivy League degrees, post-graduate fellowships, and think tank pedigrees—people whose parents would have been horrified if they’d said they wanted to join the Marines) who manage to get us into these wars.
Trump voiding the nuclear agreement verified the hardliners line that the US could not be trusted and we are the "Great Satan" was correct and gained control over the moderates that wanted trade and normalcy instead of Nukes. It is a well verified fact and Trump actions supported the worst and most radical Iranians who returned to power.. That money was Iran's property and the world court was about to award it to them without any restrictions too. Obama gave Humvees to the Ukrainians and the Javelins that Trump finally sent after Congress threatened him and was impeached for attempted extortion were expressly banned from the frontlines and were stored away far from the Donbas battlefield until Russia invaded years later.

Trump may have just ‘empowered’ Iranian hardliners against Israel

  • In a move that defied pleas from close allies, the U.S. president tore up the landmark nuclear accord and said he would seek to re-impose economic sanctions on Tehran.
  • Iranian lawmakers responded to Trump’s decision by setting fire to a U.S. flag and chanting “death to America” during a session of parliament.
  • One major geopolitical concern coming into sharp focus in recent months has been the escalation of clashes between Iran and Israel.
  • President Donald Trump’s abandonment of the Iran nuclear deal may dramatically ratchet up military tensions in the Middle East, political analysts warned on Wednesday.

“I think the problem here is that what Trump has done is he has empowered the hardliners in Iran,” Nicholas Fitzroy, research analyst at the Economist Intelligence Unit, told CNBC’s “Squawk Box Europe.”
Fitzroy said the Trump administration’s abandonment of the multi-party pact could prove to be the flashpoint for Iranian hardliners to adopt “a more confrontational approach” to a region already on edge.

Syghman Rhee was every bit as brutal as any one of the Kims.

If it’s all the same to you, I’ll take Syngman Rhee’s Republic of Korea over your cruel joke called the “Democratic People’s Republic of Korea,” otherwise known as “Kimville,” where people still live like caged animals 75-years after the Korean War started.

Our country is having a problem politically now and please give us some slake.

Threatening the sovereignty of allies for no reason has done almost unrepairable damage to the reputation of the US.

The world will not forget.

Uh...I hate to break it to you, but the people of South Korea have likewise been under the jackboot of brutal dictators for most of the period since the “end” of the war.

No comparison. Where would you rather live?

Plenty of comparison right up until the early 1990s, and even today South Korea have a ton of issues, such as the recent coup attempt.

The lives and freedom of everyday people is totally different. You don't see North Koreans on Mediterranean cruises or European bus tours.

my point-------the GOP blocked anything else

After the initial 2014 invasion, the Obama Administration made a decision to provide only non-lethal aid to Ukraine. With the exception of limited sanctions, it was largely business as usual. Europe continued to buy Russian oil, gas, and fertilizer while selling it Prada bags and Volkswagens. You can’t blame Trump for that, because he was busy firing people on his TV show. 🤷‍♂️

South Korea literally just had a coup attempt not that long ago.

Again unlike Russia which has descended into hell under Putin, S. Korea has found the freedom to live and prosper with a democracy that supports capitalism. That is something the Russian people have never been able to do. They are doomed to endless suffering I'm afraid.

Only because it’s people stood up to their American backed tyrants and toppled them, ignoring the wails of “but Russia! But North Korea!” from the dictatorship’s supporters.
