I've walked down the street...albeit, at two o'clock in the morning...to get something to munch on from the local convenience store and been stopped by a passing patrol car. No big deal. Showed my ID, told the Officers where I was going. They ran a check, thanked me for my cooperation and I went on my way.

Contrary to feeling like they were Gestapo, I was thankful they were on alert in my neighborhood.

I suspect most law-abiding humans agree with me.

Why are you okay with the police harassing you for going about your business and committing no crime?

As a law abiding person I don't want to be stopped by the police because I am not committing a crime.

He had his ID... he wasn't carrying his birth certificate because who does that?

And to reiterate... the policeman had no authority to ask a passenger of a vehicle for their ID if there was no reason to think that a crime was being committed.

A driver speeding does not give the police carte blanch to arrest the passengers.

Simon does not know the difference between the rights that are guaranteed to citizens and the privilege of being treated similarly as a guest in our country. Privileges can be revoked without any legal cause. Citizens rights can not be.

I would like to know why people on the left believe America is obligated to house people who came here illegally so much so, that they are going to great lengths the not only keep gamg members in this country but also to retrieve the ones that have been successfully removed. What message should we all take away from their gesture?

This is tied to him trying to end birthright citizenship. In his mind, he believes no one will try to stop him. If he sends a bunch of citizens to foreign countries, by the time it makes it to the courts, he’ll just say “oops they’re gone. I can’t get them back”

Have you looked at the polling on this. You are not in the majority. Most Americans are tired of defending illegals for breaking our immigration laws.
