Trump has a choice either to debate or not and unless he loses his mind entirely by next May, he will not participate in any debates with anyone. He'd be totally out of his mind to do so and I'll explain why.

No matter whether he'll debate a Democrat (he won't) or a Republican (he might) it will be a mud sling-fest. Everyone is going to bring their A(sshole) dirty game to debates. They'll bring up Helsinki, they'll accuse him of violating the emoluments clause, they'll talk about sharpie-gate and Taliban-gate. Trump is not prepared to handle this without a teleprompter or with a "we'll see what happens" response. If John Kasich joins in the fray, he's been there before and knows where the soft targets are on Trump's back.

Nope, there's little chance of Trump debating anyone. The only debate forum he's comfortable with is Twitter because there's no dialog there, only accusation, taunts, insults and buffoonery.

Let's face it, he's right. The GOP is fully the party of Trump, or as I like to call it, "The Cult of 45". I'm glad I ditched these losers in 2012.

He will debate the democrat challenger. Should he debate Mark Sanford? Not unless Sanford can show some sort of popular support for his campaign. Right now, there is no reason for Trump to debate any of those three guys.

Dont you ever get tired of being wrong?. The republican party gets to make its own rules just as the democrat party does. If you dont get a certain percentage in the polls, you dont get on the democrat debate stage either. And that is how it should be and must be. Just because someone announces for president doesnt mean they get to take the stage. Hell, I could announce right here on DP. Does that mean that trump must debate me? You clearly havent thought this through.
