I demand to know why this works!!!

It looks like Obama in drag!!!:lamo

I don't think it worked. What was supposed to happen?

It usually is you can see the picture appear in a different color on the white, but these things seldom work with me either. The Magic eye posters I could always see the 3D images right off the bat though.

Actually I did see a positive image of a young woman. I only imagined Obama wearing a bike helmet on horse back with Putin.

I see a similar image but in color, inverted, and wearing different clothes. Very interesting.

That's cool, Fisher. Thanks! The brain is remarkable.

Yep. This is probably the most famous one. You stare 30 seconds at the red dot in the flag (near the last star on the bottom right) and look onto a white background and the flag appears in its appropriate colors. to most people.

I just saw a fleeting image of the same woman but it looked like a normal image as opposed to the blue image I stared at.

The image burns temporarily in your retina. When you look at the background, you'll see the negative of, or in this case the correct image. I used to have some cool Star Wars coloring books as a kid which had several images like that in it.

The portion of your brain which processes vision works on a delay of 5-7 seconds. Anything you see can be visually retained for this time and overcast on your active vision field as the new image collides with the old image. As your mind replaces the old visual with the new one it appears to fade.

Yes, this! When I was a kid I noticed if I stared at something for a long time, then glanced at a light colored wall I saw like an X-ray of the object. I thought it was totally cool!

Also, I saw a normally-colored photo of a young woman too!
