I stopped following NASCAR when they were quick to condemn unknown people over a claim of racism/hate crime, which after being fully investigated by the FBI proved to be a big nothing. But then NASCAR was sheepish about admitting they jumped the gun.

Who cares, in a few years those aholes running NASCAR are all going to be supporting EV cars. The sport was already headed downhill when they stopped racing normally aspirated engines that ran on leaded fuel.

Which explains all the rhetoric and actions coming from right wing extremists. You just yearn for the good ole days. I'll tell you what, you go back to the 50s and 60s, but you have to give up your iPhone and your high-end gaming computer. You can also give up any access to all the new breakthrough medicines we have today.

That track has left and right turns. Its hardly a NASCAR oval. I love to watch NASCAR on road courses because its so hilarious watching the good old boys try to set up and race on a road course. They are a handful who know how to do it but most do not.

Some race fuels still use lead. L:eaded gas has been banned on the street since 1987.

The reality is, boycotts typically do not work unless it's easy.

Bud light, just switch to another beer.

But as soon as all the beers go woke, the beer drinker will give up and drink whatever.

Which will likely be the end result.

Most Nascar fans will cry an moan but keep on watching. There is no easy alternative.
