I can also say in all honesty that I have seen more black racism toward whites than the reverse in my personal experiences.
Of course, I am from the north east and that makes a difference.
My dad was stationed in Louisiana during WW2 and was horrified at the racism he saw.

It is not extremism, firstly, since racial inequity still exists.
Secondly, I suspect you think that there should just be parity everywhere for people of color and that will mean everything is OK. That is misleading. There will never be "just enough but no more" people of color whenever there is a final end to racism. For certain years or professions or education there will be, at times, more Asian or black or brown. Most likely, there will always be an outsider group considered inferior because that seems to be the tribal nature of humans.
