What I have been telling you and others is precisely what happened. Obamacare was passed and my insurance premiums doubled. My former employer began to raise our contributions as a result. I decided to shop Obamacare because there were subsidies available. The insurance agent quoted me what he described as an Obamacare silver plan. It was even more expensive than my private group plan from work and totally unusable. I didn’t qualify for any subsidies.

And you can call me a liar for this aswell. I was without insurance for a brief period before getting on my wife’s plan. I was penalized 200 bucks for every month (if I recall correctly) that I was without insurance when I did my taxes. That made me hate the ACA even more.

As far as peace between warring parties, I do not agree with you. The war between Ukraine and Russia is worse now than before. The Iran/Israel war was upgraded while Trump has been in office, meaning he did not bring peace but simply caused the upgraded status to ebb. As far as fixing the nation's problems, here I (and most economists) totally disagree with you. He has done things (and is in the process of doing more things) that are likely to end up very badly for this nation. If nothing else, no benefits have yet to be seen.

Good points. But I think Trump’s endorsements of torture and war crimes, his pardoning of US soldiers prosecuted for war crimes, his insults to so many immigrants and other Americans puts him somewhere on the evil spectrum.
