How we know democrats are full of crap

The tariffs are not for US trade partners. They're for domestic companies that export their labor to said trade partners. Trump essentially wants companies to keep their entire production line within the US, so to do that, he has to make it such that moving operations overseas would be a total loss for them. He is a big proponent of Autarky.

The Democrats on the other hand believe that America is better off when it can focus on churning tech and innovation over dealing with the hard labor of manufacturing and processing. That has been the trend for 20+ years now, especially when we normalized trade with China. Unfortunately, they simply assumed people will just naturally become 'coders' when they've been miners their whole lives. They definitely sound like their Republican colleagues at certain points. It's like saying 'just get a better job'. I'm sure everyone will do just that, especially in this economy.

It's too bad Trump didn't actually run on this and give voters an opportunity to choose at the ballot box whether they want to gamble their economic futures on an economic theory few economists support.

Biden and the Dem's goosed green and high-tech manufacturing. I hope Trump doesn't squander those opportunities.

People who have "been miners their whole lives" need to be retrained, not because of tie-died hippies not buying coal anymore, but because mining companies have moved from labor-intensive tunneling to machine-intensive mountaintop removal techniques. In free markets, people need to be nimble. In the meantime, they need medical insurance and education opportunities and for people to be honest with them.

Working class Americans are really struggling in this economy. Trump promised he would make things better for them. Tariffs and budget cuts ain't gonna do that. I'm still waiting to see what else he does. But as of now, I'm pretty disappointed with his economic policy.

This shows a fundamental lack of knowledge concerning constitutional law.
For example: Donald attempted to end birthright citizenship with a stroke of his pen.
No executive order can supersede the United States Constitution, and birthright citizenship is enshrined in the 14th Amendment of our Constitution with no room for interpretation.
An executive order cannot override existing federal laws and statutes or be used to bypass judicial and legislative branches of government, which have equal power. The president cannot overrule the Supreme Court's interpretation of the law and cannot single-handedly change laws that have been passed by Congress.

There is nothing that a president can do which would lower food prices in less than a day. Only an idiot would believe this verbatim. However Trump, knowing that he will be lowering food prices hyper fast, bragged and boasted in typical Trump fashion. Just as he fixed the border in days he will fix food prices. It will be much faster than historical examples. Eggs are coming down as is fuel prices. This alone will lead to lower prices in all other areas.

Biden reversed Trumps border policy on day one. He caused the problem. Obviously he could have fixed it. He lied to you. It really doesn’t take much intelligence to understand that what Biden broke by removing past policy could easily be reversed by reinstating the same policy. So I knew Biden was talking out his ass. American manufacturers have a tariff on goods sold in China. Chinese manufacturers have zero tariff on goods sold in America. That is not a free or fair market.
