How we know democrats are full of crap

Honestly, why even pay attention to democrats? They are so predictable and all say the exact same thing and act in concert. As for this forum, you only need one neo-leftist to communicate the DNC propaganda, but there are well over 200 regulars all sucking the oxygen out of the room and making sure there is no debate, as it would challenge and debunk the DNC propaganda.
And they all use the same weak transparent message board tactics. Their playbook:

-if they don't like the subject, they demand another source without ever showing if anything is inaccurate in the article
- if you provide another source they do the same thing
- they pull out the idiotic mediabiasfactcheck like it's some magic bullet to automatically discredit an article without them pointing out what's inaccurate
-they hide behind insults, one liners or vague posts and if you ask them for details there is always an excuse why they can't.
-demand citations for opinions

Took economics myself. How is what I said wrong? Explain.

As for your Fox News attack lol…..bologna! I said people like you have a problem. The problem is that you are bitching and moaning about all the damage trumps tariffs are going to cause. Many of you claiming it to be the end of this country. It amounts to less than a 3 percent increase in costs. You then supported Harris and or Biden who vowed to allow trumps tax cuts to expire which would have amounted to about 10 percent decrease in income annually. I simply pointed out your hypocrisy or your ignorance or your virtue signaling or much more likely, your TDS.

These are simple numbers and simple facts. No need for any special Econ course or complicated math expertise. Just basics and the ability to comprehend just how ****ing full of shit and hypocritical many folks are these days.
They call it a tax and it is not. Unlike the government who confiscates money from us, I can either buy or not buy shoes, a car or whatever there is a tariff on.

That's a good start of what they do. If all that fails, they trot out the racist or fascist card. If you ignore that, then it will be Trump loves Pootin or Trump is a narcissist, rapist, etc. and Musk wants our personal information and now it is that we are headed to a recession. FEAR SELSS and these posters use it in every post.

Or brown people are going to rape you because they are all criminals!!!!

That will happen when you spam some rando on twitter and call it evidence.

Ever wonder if all they really are doing is trolling to get conservatives to say something that violates a forum rule so they can hit the report button?

Sometimes the smarter ones will do that. For the most part though, 99% are really that dumb.

Yawn. Nothing in that frothy-mouthed screed will convince anyone that liberalism is the mental disorder we need to worry about.
Yes...truer words never spoken. Nothing will convince you...despite the facts repeatedly shown...nothing will convince you..

Which says a lot about the politicians....but a lot more about you.

Hmm, sounds like Jan. 6.

And just remember, that any MAGA condemnation is just a confession.

It wasn't in the foreseeable future, until donald came to power like a bull in a China shop.
Now, it's nearly guaranteed. And probably within donalds reign.
It's not going to matter one diddlyf__k how much money donalds allegedly saving, when that currency has been devalued through loss of our Worlds reserve currency status.
Make any f___ing excuse you want, and I'm sure you will, but that pos in the White House is f___ing us all.
And all donalds little brown nosed culties are dancing and cheering along.

My favorite part, is when they get mad when we call them stupid.
More garbage from you. Our dollar has been on the edge for much longer than Trump. As our debt continues to rise with no end in sight, we inch closer and closer. The only reason it hasn’t collapsed is because our economy is so big that has protected us from collapse.

You don’t even realize that you are responsible for this shit not Trump. All the cradle to grave nanny state spending. The waste, fraud, and abuse that seems to be majority leftist garbage. The socialist mindset your party has is why we are here. My party had a hand in it because they lack the ****ing spine to stand up and resist it. They prefer to capitulate than upset the apple cart. Well the apple cart is at the edge of the cliff. Been there for a very long time.

Just look at how you and your party respond to anyone seeking to slow the spending and stop the WF&A. Elon is the devil to you guys. The left is addicted to spending and gets violent when that drug is taken away it seems.

When Trump eliminates the WF&A and reduces or eliminates the deficit our dollar will become stronger. Less printing equals stronger dollar. When more manufacturing comes back to this country our dollar strengthens. Which is why you have this shit back assward.

My whole point for this thread was to point out the utter and complete inability for the leftists on this forum and across the country to realize how bad they are eat up with both “the dumb ass” and TDS.

We have known for years that they are all eat up with the dumb ass. This point clearly shows them that they are.

The horror that they claim the American people will face because of Trumps tariffs was quite alarming. I didn’t believe it would be very bad but I decided to look anyway. Three percent lol. So they vote for someone promising 10 percent decreases in income while bitching about 3 percent increases in expenditures. You just can’t make this shit up. A bunch of imbeciles with Trump Derangement Syndrome. Pretty sad actually.

I agree that there are all manner of counter influences that will be at play as you pointed out. Also agree about the uncertainty and the markets.
If that was your whole point you failed miserably. Apparently you can just make this shit up.

When Trump eliminates the WF&A and reduces or eliminates the deficit our dollar will become stronger.
When we lose dollar hegemony because of donalds actions, it won't matter how many U.S. dollars donald is allegedly "saving".

Like clockwork 😆
“But if they’re here, they [Syrian refugees] have to go back, because we cannot take a chance. You look at the migration, it’s young, strong men. We cannot take a chance that the people coming over here are going to be ISIS-affiliated.” (scare tactic)

“At this very moment, large well-organized caravans of migrants are marching towards our southern border. Some people call it an invasion. … These are tough people in many cases; a lot of young men, strong men and a lot of men that maybe we don’t want in our country. … This isn’t an innocent group of people. It’s a large number of people that are tough. They have injured, they have attacked.” (scare tactic)

“They’re rough people, in many cases from jails, prisons, from mental institutions, insane asylums. You know, insane asylums, that’s ‘Silence of the Lambs’ stuff. ... Hannibal Lecter, anybody know Hannibal Lecter?” (scare tactic)

"As borders are, she [Kamala Harris] flooded America with savage, illegal alien criminals who have been raping, pillaging, and killing our cities and our towns.” (scare tactic)

“Once they [migrants] get used to the lay of the land, these are violent people.” (scare tactic)

But yeah, "like clockwork"

More tariffs they were already doing it before all countries were doing it to us so there was never any free trade it was always trade war with us and we just let it happen now we're stopping it.

Then you would support the tariffs that's the only way to make trade Fair.

See above.

So now it's even a bigger win because they've been terrific us and so now it's fair free trade with either end of it collecting tariffs

Economic integration hasn't been allowed to happen.
Not against retaliatory tariffs, but does anyone really think that imposing blanket tariffs on all goods coming from Canada or Mexico is in any way justified, especially since we signed a USMCA that Trump himself signed? The idea that tariffs promote "fair trade" is flat on its face absurd. If you want countries to reduce their tariffs, you do a deal with them, plain and simple. Trump has zero desire to make trade fair, otherwise, he wouldn't have made that "tariff is the most beautiful word in the dictionary."

That's what Trump's doing. You do the deal or your economy is thrown into a tailspin.

Trump is being ripped by democrats for his use of tariffs to level the playing field with respect to trade and to force countries to capitulate to things we want them to do.
If only.

The idea of short-term pain for long-term gain is not a crazy idea in and of itself,” said Greg Mankiw, a Harvard economist who served as chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers under President George W. Bush.

But Mr. Trump’s trade policies, he said, are “short-term pain to get more long-term pain.”
[...]
But even if the goal is to reduce imports, economists say broad-based tariffs like the ones Mr. Trump has threatened and imposed will be ineffective. That’s because the tariffs hit not just consumer goods but the parts and materials that U.S. manufacturers use to produce their products — making them more expensive for domestic and foreign consumers alike.

“If their goal is to re-industrialize, I think they’re going to learn that tariffs actually set them back on that,” said Kimberly Clausing, a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, who served in the Treasury Department during the Biden administration. “Making things in America is much harder when all the inputs are more expensive.”

Trump is being ripped by democrats for his use of tariffs to level the playing field with respect to trade and to force countries to capitulate to things we want them to do. Democrats here on DP have begun screaming about recession and how the American people will suffer financial hardship as a result. So I did some looking to see what these tariffs would cost us Americans. Lol they amount to a 3 percent increase.

So these same democrats that want Trumps tax cuts to expire are crying over 3 percent. The tax cuts that save most folks 10 percent lol. The tariffs are raising prices and we will all suffer greatly they scream lol. Three whole percent. Yet not smart enough to understand that trumps tax cuts will reduce their income by 10 percent lol. You just can’t make this shit up.

As you can see this whole outrage from democrats leaders is nothing more than a show. They hate Trump and want him to fail and will do or say whatever necessary to achieve that objective. Even something as hypocritical and obvious as bitching about a 3 percent hike while pushing for a 10 percent hike.

Sad part is the democrats drones cackling here on DP aren’t able to figure out that they are being used and made to look completely hypocritical or ignorant.

This is also why it is so easy to destroy democrats in debate.
Your attempt at economic analysis is as charming as a barrel of monkeys on nitrous oxide, but allow me to dismantle this Trumpian apologia. You assert, with the confidence of a man who’s just discovered fire, that Democrats are weeping crocodile tears over a trifling 3 percent tariff increase while ignoring their own alleged 10 percent tax-hike hypocrisy. The numbers, you crow, expose their perfidy! Oh, how the plebeians must chortle at such a revelation. But let us pause the revelry and apply a modicum of intellect, shall we?

First, your tariff arithmetic is as reliable as a politician’s promise. Tariffs are not a flat 3 percent surcharge on the American soul, neatly offset by tax cuts like some budgetary fairy tale. They ripple through supply chains, inflate costs unevenly, and disproportionately burden the working stiffs--those same folks Trump claims to champion while he’s busy gilding his Mar-a-Lago throne. A 3 percent average might mean a 20 percent spike on your imported toaster or a 15 percent gouge on your car parts, depending on where the trade winds blow. Meanwhile, the tax cuts you fetishize--those glorious 10 percent savings--skew heavily toward the plutocrats, leaving the average Joe with crumbs and a patriotic grin. The Congressional Budget Office, hardly a bastion of Bolsheviks, pegged the 2017 tax cut’s benefits at a measly 1-2 percent income boost for most middle-class households, while the top 1 percent sipped champagne from golden chalices. So spare me the “10 percent lol” triumph--it’s a mirage for the masses.

And the Democrats, you say, are hypocrites for opposing this tariff gambit while letting Trump’s tax cuts lapse? Hmmm, well, the expiration of those cuts was baked into the original legislation by Trump’s own Republican lackeys--a sunset clause to dodge the fiscal reaper. Democrats aren’t “pushing” a 10 percent hike; they’re simply refusing to extend a temporary gift that mostly stuffed the pockets of the already-stuffed. The tariffs, conversely, are a fresh Trumpian brainstorm, a blunt instrument wielded to “level the playing field” with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer in a China shop. If the goal is to force capitulation from trading partners, one might ask why the last round of Trump tariffs left us with a wider trade deficit and a humbled American farmer begging for subsidies. Capitulation? More like capitulation of common sense.

Your real gripe, though, isn’t the numbers--it’s the Democrats’ gall in hating Trump and daring to obstruct his divine will. Fair enough; politics is a blood sport, and Trump’s a lightning rod. But to call their outrage a “show” while ignoring the tariff’s real sting is to mistake the forest for a particularly garish tree. The sad part, as you put it, isn’t the “Democrat drones” failing to see the hypocrisy; it’s that you’ve swallowed the Trump narrative hook, line, and sinker, mistaking bombast for brilliance. Destroying Democrats in debate may be your fantasy, but when the facts are this slippery in your grasp, it’s less a rout than a pantomime. Next time, bring a sharper blade--or at least a calculator, then maybe, just maybe, someone in the peanut gallery will be impressed, but it won't be me.
