How to fix the "gun crisis"

Gun violence in the US is extremely concentrated with 95% of it taking place in the cities. What's your plan to deal with gun violence in the cities? And in case you don't know, gang-bangers aren't strolling around at gun shows.

You have no room to complain about people calling cops civilians when you lie on purpose about AR15 modern sporting rifles being military weapons.

The gun laws in California and Illinois should be struck down.Not enacted at the federal level.Only anti-2nd amendment trash think California, Illinois and New York have good gun laws.

Because we have the right to keep and bear arms enshrined in the bill of rights. Anti-2nd amendment trash wish to change that and make those gun laws more strict.

That's like asking me what my plan is to end violence in the Middle East.

Even if by some miracle you could remove every gun from the inner cities, the violence and murders wouldn't stop. There are no guns in a maximum security prison, yet it's still a very violent place.

But I'm not the one looking to disarm people - you are. So you tell me how you're going to do it.

So you have no plan. You want everything to stay exactly the same way. Even if we have a mass shooting every day. Even if children all over this country are mass murdered in numbers unheard of.

Again, so-called "mass shootings" result in a very small number of deaths, as Black Science Man pointed out the other day. If you really cared about doing something about gun violence, you'd start in the cities.

25 children have been killed in "mass shootings" in 2019.

To put that into perspective, 350 children drown in swimming pools every year in the US.

You're not really interested in the lives of children, you are just using their deaths to push a political agenda. It's disgusting, but typical for the left.

Calling cops civillians so an extremist can attempt justify more firepower for the eventual day of Armageddon is simply an incorrect thing do to because cops are NOT civilians.

Actually it is a very mainstream position as Americans do not want such firepower in the hands of civillians.

A person can support the 2nd Amendment and also support banning such weapons in our society. They two positions are very compatible with the love of country and support of the Constitution.
