1) don’t insist science is lies, and/or a vast conspiracy against religion
2) don’t be condescending
3) don’t be childish
4) don’t be sanctimonious
5) don’t threaten
6) don’t try to frighten people
7) don’t use your religion like a hammer
Best thing for theists to do is NOT argue at all.
Accept and respect the choices everyone else makes.
Did somebody convince you what to believe?
Or did you come to your own conclusions all by yourself?
If you came to your own conclusions without outside influences, then offered that same freedom to others.
To most effectively argue theism, don’t argue it, just live it and provide a stellar example of peaceful, respectful, and loving existence.
