clearly the left does. I love people who are actors pretending that they have some wisdom on politics that we mere mortals do not. but I am sure lots of numbed brained voters probably lap that stuff up and given more people follow who wins SURVIVOR or AMERICAN IDOL than know their own two senators, maybe Hillary will be helped by lots of A list Hollywood types supporting her

but then there is this which is a counter to the famous ad for hillary featuring a bunch of people we all know

Celebrities are the last people I pay attention too concerning politics.

Don't give a **** what celebrities have to say about much of anything.

I don't look up to Scarlett Johansson or Olivia Munn to tell me who I should vote for.

of course not, most of us on this board tend to be far more informed than your average soccer mom or American Idol hard core fan. but what about people who really don't care about politics?

Oh, I can't speak for everyone, but I do know some near my age that said they hoped Kanye West would run for president in 2020.

I believe those are the kind of idiots you are referring to.

I don't. I don't think any endorsement from anyone matters much, but less from people who couldn't spell President unless it was written on a teleprompter.

There are a ton of young people who get their "news" from the likes of John Stewart. They don't read the NYT,Washington Post or watch CNN or fox. The there is the money funding all of those negative ads that we know work. Big bucks from both Hollywood and the Tech Execs in Silicon Valley where the real money is these days.

Nothing says political wisdom like Chachi from Happy Days. Like it or not celebs do have power in our politics just look at the star studded cast at the two conventions.

As far as I am concerned there are actors leading both major parties right now.
