Current evidence backs up this older study, suggesting that anywhere between 8 and 20 percent of recognized pregnancies will end in miscarriage and 30 to 40 percent of all conceptions end in miscarriage.
A miscarriage isn't "God's abortion". That's just insane. It's a miscarriage. No god stuck a need in a girl and tore a baby apart. The pregnancy didn't make it to term due to biological and/or environmental factors. Shocking news, I know.
There is no possible value to this discussion, a miscarriage or "stillbirth" has nothing to do with an abortion decision.
Has everything to do with "god" though.
According to many, "god" is responsible for everything. Life. Death. Election winners and losers. Everything.
So if god wanted all pregnancies to turn out living breathing babies, there would be no miscarriages.
So obviously, "god" intends to end 30-40% of all pregnancies. God aborts the pregnancy.
God terminated the pregnancy. It's just that simple.
Let's suppose you're correct. God also says he flooded the earth and only keep 1 guy(and his family) alive. You think then, that it's allowed to kill people? Maybe you believe this, but I don't.
Miscarriage. "God's" abortion.
Happens quite often.

I assume though that god is allowed to "kill babies" like that because "he" works in mysterious ways?
Does your life suck this bad to be on a internet chat room ranting about how miscarriages happen?
My life is wonderful. Thanks for asking.
Is god not responsible for miscarriages?
We get it!
You have a hard on for anything god.
Next page.

You don't believe in God, so why are you trying to externalize personal responsibility?
The vast majority of those who wish to make abortion 100% illegal use the "god" argument.
Yes?

How Many Abortions Does "God" Perform????

That's what the "god people" say. Yes.
Sounds like a lot of god supported incest too doesn't it? How else would the world get repopulated?
So the bottom line is that if you believe in god, you believe god is just fine and dandy with killing lots and lots of people.
And fetuses.
Using that 'logic', since God (or god - for those hypersensitive to the capital letter God) kills everyone so why all the fuss over homicide?
Only if you strawman religions. If it is True, that God is fine with PEOPLE murdering other people, then you would have to explain why he explicitly forbids us from doing so!
God is the creator of the world. He gets to decide on what basis a soul should or shouldn't come into being. God is not a man. His responsibility isn't to preserve life, that's our responsibility. He can take life whenever he damn well pleases because he's God, and he created heaven and earth, and us. Just like you can decide whether or not you want to plant, or cut down, a tree, because its your tree on your property. God can decide what soul gets created or not, its all his creation. Someone else's soul, or life, doesn't belong to you.
Stop playing the "i know nothing about religion" game. You know better than this. Our souls belong to god. No other person's soul belong to someone else. That's why we are forbidden from murder, while God, the creator of our souls, has every right to decide how long we live or whether we live at all!
Our souls belong to god. That's why we are forbidden from murder

But if hurricanes and forest fires are god's way of punishing sinners, get my drift?
