Got tired of talking and started doing. Over the last 8 months I went to a swing state to get out the vote. Didn't work at the top (one bonus, we don't have to listen about the election being stolen) but we did elect a D senator so there is that. I've marched with signs in large groups, and stood at an intersection with a sign by myself, my union is at impasse in contract negotiations, I've written letters and called politicians. Anything to tell people that what is happening today is not what America is about.

Anyway, I feel way better doing something than just posting about it, and that's why I'm back. This Saturday, the wanna be who will never be king is having a birthday party that he says is for the Army.

THIS IS WHAT AUTHORITARIANISM LOOKS LIKE. Find a protest Saturday and let the world know that America is not interested in Kings. And if you are in favor of kings, wear your red hat out and see how many Americans agree with you.

Since the eagles have fledged, , I have some extra time...
I'm also loving the Kilauea Volcano and Banzai Pipeline live feeds. They are way more relaxing than any news feed.

That eagle cam is the best. Jackie and Shadow are amazing parents and Sunny and Gizmo are such characters.

Trump has done much of what the majority voters voted him in to do. OUR votes and numbers last November got him elected to do what he promised and what we wanted

I have few complaints about anything Trump has done. I disliked much of Biden's reign and rule but I never protested. I have a job and my free time has no time for wastefully standing around with signs complaining

If it was truly something worth protesting I might consider .... this wasn't

nothing was gained other than people listening to themselves and feeling good that they protested and a few looters got to steal, a few violent people got to tear things up .... other than that, nothing was gained

We'll see what changes in the mid-terms. There sure are a lot of kindred spirits out there identifying what is wrong under the Trump administration.

I think they were to

#1 we don't have a King

so the entire protest was named wrong. could have named it No Klingon event and it'd have been just as applicable and what did it accomplish ?
