The House of Representatives will make another attempt Wednesday to pass three emergency funding bills after each failed to obtain the required two-thirds majority Tuesday.
The House Rules Committee is scheduled to meet at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday to consider the three measures backed by House Republicans, which are aimed at reopening parks and monuments, continuing veterans’ benefits and allowing the municipal government of the District of Columbia to function.

Proof that it is the Democrats who are holding the government hostage, not the Republicans.
Would it not provide more proof of how reasonable the Republicans are to just pass the Senate billHouse to try again to pass 3 emergency funding bills amid government slimdown | Fox News

Seriously....do you actually believe this or are you simply trying to be a good Republican soldier and engage in more of the spin that has failed sadly over the last couple of days.
This is just more of the political grandstanding/gamesmanship that the American people see right through. You guys are losing badly in the public opinion forum...what makes you think that continuing the same failed line of extortion is going to suddenly sway public opinion in your favor? give it up dude....the public isn't buying this BS. The teabaggers are floundering and will be trying to figure out how to save face without coming out looking as ridiculous as they currently are.

with ACA removed, rather than piecemeal?
Its funny watching a purely partisan hack accusing others of being partisan hacks. This dictator in charge would negotiate with a country that stones gay people to death but won't negotiate with the duly elected legislative body of the people and you blame that legislative body? Shameful.
And why must the Republicans be forced to go against why they were elected? Why can't the president offer the same delay in his beloved health care act that he's granted to big corporations? Why this is that unreasonable?
Their job is to pass a Budget. They can fight the merits of the ACA separately. Tying it to the Budget then whining aboutAnd why must the Republicans be forced to go against why they were elected? LOL.....spouting Bonner's talking points? Explain to us how a law passed by both houses of Congress and upheld by the United States Supreme Court after a Constitutional challenge is akin to a "dictatorhsip".....this should be good.......

You do know how this got pushed through right? Did you study the history?
When one duly elected legislative body waits until the 0 hour to deal with this why should the other duly elected legislative body or the president capitulate? If they wanted to conference about this they should have started 6 months ago. Does anyone really think that anyone would sit down and try to negotiate altering a signature piece of legislation in a single evening or even a week or month?

I am fully aware of the history. We ended up with an ACA that included the Heritage Foundation/Republican idea of the individual mandate rather than the public option (which was a better plan) because Obama tried to negotiate with the Republicans and the Bluedogs....the final bill was passed through the proper legislative process and signed into law. Incidentally, the teabaggers tried to challenge it and it was upheld by the United States Supreme Court. Can I help you with more history lessons or have you got it now?
From what I read regarding the passage of the ACA, it contains many of the items of which the Republicans originally favored. Why do the Democrats not have to compromise? Why can't they compromise? The Republicans have many times now.
I think both sides are showing a remarkable lack of flexibility and compromise. Does it really make sense to you to keep passing bills that either won't pass the Senate or will get vetoed by the President? Then you pass bills that fund what YOU like, but nothing else...and go running to your mouthpiece to talk about whose fault it is. Does that sound like good government to you?

The Heritage Foundation and even Newt had similar items. One example, the "public option". First they were for it then they were against it. Negotiating with a moving target. Now they are on record as being against the ACA and it will eventually be as difficult to repeal as SS and Medicare. The Republicans should have said, "Americans are one medical crisis away from disaster. And rather than follow the Democrats tax tax tax plan we Republicans have a better way to protect the American people, and keep our country strong" But they missed an opportunity to lead and are perceived as the Grand Obstructionist Party. And they know it. That's why they're fighting to block the ACA because they know it will be popular. Time will tell.
