What really strikes me as ironic is that Trump isn't authoritarian but is considered fascist by progressives while all progressives are authoritarian but can't be considered fascist.:ROFLMAO: Do you realize that every history-rewriting redefiner of fascism agrees that a prerequisite for being fascist is being authoritarian?:ROFLMAO:

Just a point of fact here. The House of Reps can’t oust Trump. They don’t have that authority. It’s not going to happen.

Right. Only the Senate can. And McConnell doesn't have the guts to do so, so we'll wait for Schumer.

They'll have a trial when Trump's a private citizen, for which there is precedent. Republicans will hide behind procedural issues to avoid having to address the issue of a president supporting a coup. Meanwhile, state prosecutors will also be upholding our laws thus:

Obviously, equal rule of law isn't being followed. Duh.:rolleyes:

Sidenote: For example, I used to have a signature which pointed out that Pelosi harped about Trump's alleged destruction of 'our democracy' while she was hypocritically mute when it came to the possibility of 'our democracy' being destroyed from the way the 2020 election was handled (and not investigated).
