What's the use of spending money so the government can buy up baby formula? How will this put more formula on the store shelves? Not only is this posturing, this is going to take what little formula there OFF the shelves.

How can government purchase nonexistent baby formula? In other words democrats should do something even if it's wrong.The GOP has been bellyaching about the FDA not doing enough about the problem however when the FDA requests funds to address the problem they refuse. These will be the same GOP'ers using the shortage as a campaign issue which is likely why they don't really want the problem solved...just like inflation.

I will give her credit. Rarely do they provide any solutions just gripe about the problem? However, there is no way that is a Bill designed to give relief now. That is a much more complex Bill that will take time to vet. The Bill the Dems based on was an emergency measures type bill, not a long-term solution. I'm not even sure there is a long-term problem that needs fixing.
