Did you vote for Obama?
This health care plan was not popular with Republicans, though it has it's roots in Romney's plan, The Heritage Foundation, Rep. Chuck Grassley's plan in 1993 (the individual mandate).
There is some unpopularity amongst Democrats because they wanted a single payer system.
This healthcare reform is not popular period.
This healthcare reform is not popular period.
The rightwing, tea party, "death panels and government takeover" bull**** version isn't popular. As reality seeps out, and people ask things like "why did you do X" and congressmen reply "we didn't do that" things will change a bit.
Not that there won't be plenty of lies to go around next fall.
You cons crack me up. Let me also make up some **** that I can sling at conservatives.
Oh? As I explained in the post you responded to, it was very popular with Democrats a majority of which voted Obama and Democratic representatives into office. Because it was not popular with Republicans, does not mean it wasn't popular, period.

This logical exercise where supporters of Obama say that is why he was elected has yet to be proven. Where is the evidence that "Obama and the Democrats were elected overwhelmingly to pass healthcare legislation".Oh? Because you say so. Oh well.

Wait a sec ... I thought liberals hated guns ...
No, because the polls say so.

This health care reform is NOT popular. Many democrats don't want it because it doesnt do what they want and many republicans don't want it because it does too much.
This health care reform is not popular. I don't give a rat's ass how much stock you put in Obamessiah. This health care reform is simply not popular.
Pathetic.
So many liberals have dissolved into weak kneed apologists for the violent extremists among their ranks.
Their failure to condemn these initial acts of domestic terrorism will encourage and give comfort to the instigators and ensure that there will be more terrorism committed in our land.
It's the gang that couldn't shoot straight … they got the wrong office.
[It's a shame you couldn't offer your own blanket condemnation of violence Chappy.]
And, maybe there's another more important observation than merely that these people appear to be utterly foolish in their misdeeds. And that is, when one attempts to victimize political opponents: the act itself reflects not on the character and politics of the target but rather that of the aggressor.
These recent acts bring discredit and disfavor to the supporters of health care reform; whatever merits their arguments may have had, they are brushed aside by the horror and dismay people feel towards these arbitrary acts of violence.
More important, we have entered a new era of domestic terrorism and some liberals have forgotten the central principle that under girds our
representative democracy: everyone has the right to vote their conscience.
Today, those memory impaired liberals are rapidly becoming the greatest terrorist threat to our Republic and our way of life.
Richmond Police Statement On Cantor Office Vandalism | TPM LiveWireThe Richmond Police Department is investigating an act of vandalism at the Reagan Building, 25 E. Main St., Richmond, Virginia. A first floor window was struck by a bullet at approximately 1 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23. The building, which has several tenants including an office used by Congressman Eric Cantor, was unoccupied at the time.
A Richmond Police detective was assigned to the case. A preliminary investigation shows that a bullet was fired into the air and struck the window in a downward direction, landing on the floor about a foot from the window. The round struck with enough force to break the windowpane but did not penetrate the window blinds. There was no other damage to the room, which is used occasionally for meetings by the congressman.
You realize, when you cite those who thought it didn't go far enough, that means they did want health care reform, right?
So you think Democrats should have gone further so as to make this bill more popular with them?
As to your Rassmussen poll, I can't address it without the ability to see the cross tabs as to how many were sampled, how it breaks down by party etc...
Obviously this was not an attack. Probably not even politically based.
He does too!!!i like some guns.
No, because the polls say so.

if the bill is popular why did obama have to SELL it yesterday in iowa city?
I'm sure you wrote a similar diatribe bashing the disrespect in the House chamber against Dem speakers, while Republicans cheered them on, as well as the verbal atacks on Dem leaders and also those nasty threats left on Dem leaders' voicemails... right?
