There is no constitutional mandate that forces the House to go along with a law that the majority of Americans were against, is there? No. So what is your point? It is their obligation to represent their constituencies against a poorly designed law jammed down the American people's throats.

Be that as it may, show me the specific article in our Constitution where it says that there is any, any requirement at all regarding a time frame, how quickly advise and consent must be accomplished or that a lame duck president can force them to do so... or where its been done in the past as a tradition, the last year of a lame duck's presidency.
