Lemme see: gays are the equivalent of rapists, adulterers and child molesters? If from my earliest days I find myself attracted to other men and not to women, how is that not the work of God, who also made me attracted to certain types of music or art?

I always love the sheer lunacy of that comparison. "Hey, you know what's great to compare a consenting relationship between two of the same sex with? Murder."

But either their deity wasn't very successful in writing his law on their hearts and minds, or they are miserable failures at following her, because when asked about the laws of God (also when no-one asks, for that matter) they invariably turn towards the letters written by Paul and John and 'Moses' as their proof texts, rather than encouraging people to look into their own hearts and minds.

Of course priests and pastors have every motive in the world to avoid telling their flock that they are obsolete charlatans according to their own bible.

Homosexuality was openly practiced throughout the mid east DURING the time of Christ, yet Jesus makes no mention of it at all...in fact he is quite silent on matters dealing with sexual morality.

So, please show us where it is defined in ANY religion as a "sin."

What you need to know is that the religious world had been relatively silent on the matter until after the fall of the Roman Empire when the Roman church, they of all male priests, took over the western world and invented 'witches' as a further torment against lesser humans, women.

Well generally Christian religions operate as not really servants of God but replacements for him.

They established themselves as God. I'll just use the Catholic Church as an example because that's the one I know the most about. They will say that they have it right and everyone else is wrong and every other religion says the same thing the color Church tends to pull rank because they think they were the first but they weren't.

Christianity prior to the formation of the Roman Catholic Church had a lot of little groups floating around it wasn't unified there really wasn't a Bible at the time that all came in the romanization of it.

But then when I believe that they are the only right ones and it's so they don't lose followers.

Followers equal money and clout. So A good rule of thumb is anytime you're ever around a religious organization and they say they have the one true truth and everyone else is wrong that's assured they are too.

Christianity should it be about serving God and the way you serve God is serve his people and his people are the world.

That's extraordinarily simple and very much to the point but I'm unable to pilfer hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars out of followers with that sort of rhetoric that's why it isn't popular.

SIN is anything in direct opposition to GOD's original course of action. GOD will bring HIS creation back as HE intended after HE gathers everyone who places their trust in the salvation HE offers freely at this time. But time is running out... You speak of Grecian art. What of the phallic symbol that was hung off the sides of pagan Roman buildings as a fertility good luck charm? Just because it was standard in the past doesn't make it "GOOD". And obviously, it was to such an extreme among the cities of the plain that GOD had to get Lot out of the way, so that HE could destroy a cancer threatening to infect the entire region (perhap the world). HIV is spreading as a physical manifestation, and it would seem that psychological changes are now also occurring that threatens to totally change society into rejecting the only means of SALVATION. I firmly feel CHRIST will rapture HIS CHURCH prior its complete collapse (as HE promised in HIS WORD). And what will happen next for 7 years will not be pretty nor to be desired.
