Why does our Nation consider two dudes kissing more acceptable than an American holding a rifle or serving his country? I love my right to own and defend myself with firearms !

Ummm...ok.

Depends on which part of the country. I was born in Wyoming, and they certainly had a lot bigger problem with dudes kissing than with guns.

A better question would be is to ask why our nation doesn't find it acceptable for two dudes kissing to hold a rifle to serve their country.

While I must admit the imagery thus conjured is truly inspired, I find it prudent to advise that those are not guns they are kissing.

and it's really not considered kissing per se.

I would say that it doesn't actually. The voting majority of the nation is opposed to gay marriage. Californians even voted it down. On the other hand, the voting majority of the nation supports 2nd amendment rights.
 
Ever notice how seldom the Majority, on anything, is right?
