It was right on, but didn't hit home for many. It is something to watch his 'defense' against the criticism be to confirm it saying he should have won the emmy. trump is what we've said for years, delusional, narcissistic and so on.

Hillery conceded the election. She accepted her loss like an adult. Donald, to this day, still rants about his loss being rigged. As a matter of fact, Donald demands he actually won by a Landslide. Can't get much more delusional than that. And Donald's supporters are flirting with talk of civil war and tearing down the republic because they believe Donald's delusions. They've manufactured mountains of moronic drivel in an desperate attempt at reinstating their Jesus. Yet you want to compare the barely audible whining from Hillery to the national attack visited on us by Donald? That's asinine.

Hillary also advised Biden's campaign not to concede anything. There is some reason to think she regretted not going full Al Gore, like Trump eventually did.

No- actually those were pretty spot on as well.

The other thing that she said that was very spot on was the use of the word “deplorable” to describe the Trump base. What an incredibly apt word. It only became more and more clear how incredibly prescient and insightful she was with that description as time went on.

Gore and Clinton's claims of malfeasance were like a whisper compared to Donald's all out assault on the republic because of his false claims. For example: I don't recall thousands of Gore or Clinton cosplay miscreants swarming the capital building attempting to stop the legal transfer of power. There is no comparison.
 
Limbaugh and Hannity and Fox had the base conned so thoroughly that all the Republican Party needed was a con man like Trump to come along and knock them out.

He did it and he's still doing it and he's still crying and they're still sending him money and still refusing vaccines and still dying and now shitting themselves.



Shame on all those con men.

You don't remember much of the 2000 election if you are comparing Gore's post vote efforts to those of Trump's following 2020.

As often happens in politics, telling the truth was turned into an attack on her. It's not easy to navigate when the truth is insulting to a group; Obama had a similar problem when his private comments about Republican voters were leaked. His criticism became a rallying cry for them.

Gore was confined to one state, but in that one state, he was just as full bore. Again, favorable coverage makes a big difference.

Good example.

Media coverage blames Trump for a demonstration of which he was unaware. Then it blows a rowdy demonstration into insurrection. Comparable coverage for Gore would have emphasized the symbolic nature of the protest and absolved him from personal responsibility. The first is a no holds barred attack and the second is typical political fluff.
