Hillary Clinton to Stump for Dems at 11th Hour
As the New York governor's race tightens, anxious state Democrats are turning to former party standard-bearer Hillary Clinton to boost female voter turnout and elect incumbent Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul to her first full term.

According to CNN, Clinton's Thursday appearance with Hochul in New York City will be the first candidate-specific campaign event she will headline this year. Despite being one of the most nationally-recognized Democrats, Clinton has been one of the party's most absent surrogates in recent election cycles.

Clinton will be joined by Vice President Kamala Harris, New York Attorney General Letitia James, and Hochul for the event at Barnard College in Manhattan, which comes six days before Hochul looks to voters to return her to the governor's mansion.

I couldn't have come up with a better last nail to close the coffin.

Hillary ruined it for the democrats in 2016 and they're bringing her out now at the last minute, lol......thought they were smarter.....oh well.....tks democrats.

Hillary Clinton laments GOP ‘election deniers’ in CNN interview, despite past stolen election claims
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pointed the finger at Republicans, including GOP "election deniers," for the ongoing struggle between democracy and autocracy ahead of next week’s midterm elections.

Clinton herself has repeatedly claimed that her 2016 presidential election loss was unfair, calling Donald Trump "illegitimate" and remarking that candidates can have the race "stolen" from them even if they do everything right.

On Thursday, Clinton appeared on "CNN This Morning," where she was asked what the U.S. can do to combat ongoing threats to democracy.

Citing political turmoil in Russia, China, Brazil and Iran, Clinton said the U.S. should be promoting their values of democracy, freedom and equality, instead of engaging in culture war "political opportunism" driven by Republicans. She added that while the U.S. is better positioned than any other country for the future, the country is doing a good job of getting in its own way.

Apart from her Big Lie that it's the GOP who are the election deniers, there's this whopper:

LOL! Talk about false accusations. It's the Democrats who are engaging in a culture war by pushing their radical ideals on the majority of Americans who neither support nor defend their loony public policies. They're so out of touch that they actually believe they haven't DONE ENOUGH to push their crazy on the public.

Maybe she can help turn out more Dem voters.

In any case, some observers say that a Republican sweep on Tuesday is just what the DEMS need.

It will convince ordinary DEMS that it's time to sweep away the woke elements of their party so that the Democratic Party returns to its moderate tradition.

(And, yes, if the Republicans can nominate moderates like Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, et al., then both parties can again work together as colleagues, not enemies.)
 
Clinton is still quite popular with many of the democratic rank and file and while she is not the best choice for today, she did win the popular vote in 2016, indicating a lot of support.

Nah. Most democrats would vote for a grill cheese sandwich if it has a D in front of it's name on the ballot. The hildbeast's problem is that she has less charisma then a box of rocks.

As would Republicans as evidenced by Walker in Georgia and really any other anti American loser election denier.
 
She kind of lucked out. She wasn't the president during a pandemic and an economy that follows a pandemic.

Now, I will say that it was unlucky for a whole lot of Americans who needlessly died of covid. She wouldn't have preached what trump preached.

And if you think about it the pandemic was the opportunity for any president to be historic. So she missed out on that.
