Hell of an evening

Hell of an evening. Was at the checkout line at family dollar, just down the street from where I live, when someone bumped into me. He apologized, and about 2 minutes later I found out that he managed to steal 3 credit cards from my wallet. This ****er was a real pro. I filed a police report, but not before contacting all 3 banks and having the cards cancelled and new ones issued before the asshole tried to use them. Can't wait for this asshole to begin using my cards. The merchant will be flagged that they are stolen cards. LOL. The silver lining here is that, at 1PM tomorrow afternoon, I will be signing the contract for my new home in Woodville. The neighborhood I am moving to there has not had a single crime reported in more than 10 years.
 
Sorry to hear that but glad you are excited about your new home. I had a friend have a CC scanned through is wallet while it was in his back pocket. Mine has a chip now.

Not brilliant because he is going to try to use the cards, and the merchant will be flagged that they are stolen. Most stores in the Houston area have cameras, and a few have security guards with guns. I think this asshole's day tomorrow is going to really suck. I just wish I could be there to watch. LOL.
 
Gotta hate that. Congrats on the new home, though.

When I was stationed in Libya I was at the mall with my wife, who was holding our baby. These two women come up and start talking to my wife, telling her how cute our baby is, and make funny faces at our baby and then leave.

Soon after my wife realizes her wallet is gone. Those assholes were using our baby as a distraction! The worst part is her green card was in the wallet. Getting that replaced was a headache.

My baby sister moved from Houston to Kerrville in March, and their first home concert is in November. Good times await you, Dana, good times away from this.
