Heather Nauert likely to be quizzed on her diplomatic resume

If you're a lender then nothing at all. She's made it harder for students to get out of student loans. The counter argument is surely one of people not being responsible, and there is something to that point, but the larger one is of many students being saddled with debt after they graduate and not being spending as much because they have limited funds. This has implications on the economy because they're not spending as much for that reason.

How is that Devos' fault or problem? And why should anyone be able 'to get out of' paying back a student loan? If you take out a loan for education, pay it back. Anyone who doesnt learn that in college has wasted his time there.

Do you have other examples that could help your case, or was your failed argument the best you had?

Feel free to post examples of Power's, Richardson's and Young's foreign affairs experience. Just saying I'm wrong don't cut it.

You do realize that the main reason that would allow a borrower NOT to have to pay back a student loan is that the educational institution was behaving in a fraudulent manner, don't you?

When that happens, the student is no longer liable for the loan repayment (but the educational institution could well be).

So, which side are you on:

  1. the side of those who were committing fraud; or
  2. the side of those who were defrauded?

As if I didn't already know.

Heather Nauert was selected by Trump because Putin told him to select her. If she's a good girl and refrains from contradicting Trump or otherwise embarrassing him, she will be just fine. She neither has nor needs any diplomatic or foreign policy experience for the job. Following a vigorous confirmation process, she will be confirmed along party lines in the Senate.

You wonder if there are any Republican Senators that will say NO to confirming a Fox News Bimbo to represent the US at the UN?....Putin and China must be waiting in great anticipation

Nope! They will confirm her with every Republican voting "Aye!" They may even get a couple of Blue Dog Democrats to join them. This is a foregone conclusion. The president has made his choice and it is the senate's duty to rubber stamp the nominee.

I give her 6 months before she is fired for gaffs and mis statements......Maybe she'll stand up to trump when he demands that she insult America's allies and praises autocrats.....Maybe not

And how often do these institutions behave in a 'fraudulent manner' and what constitutes such behavior?

Thats idiotic.

Thats idiotic.

Tell us why.

Tell us why, after such an intense a deliberate vetting process, this lady is the best person Trump could find for the job of U.S. Ambassador to the UN. We all know that Trump only hires the best. Isn't that right? SHE'S THE BEST!

Let them quiz Heather Nauert . I'd say she has more experience in foreign affairs than Nikki Haley at first look and yet Nikki Haley did an outstanding job. Early in her career Nauert was a correspondence reporter for world news for ABC before moving to FOX. She has been a member of the think tank Council of Foreign Affairs for years. And for the last two years has been serving at the State Department, her first government held position which now is Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs.

She will get confirmed but no doubt the Democrats as they have done from the beginning of the Trump presidency will show their asses. That's a give me on any confirmation.

She isn't qualified......But you don't care...trump nominates her...You'll support it...Then 6 months from now he'll fire her....You'll support it

The three had about as much gov. experience as Heather Nauert.
If you read the links, you'd know this...

What makes their low level of experience so different and more acceptable than Nauert's?

Why do you object to Trump's pick so much?
Heather Nauert has worked at no level of government before this. She has taken no part in policy discussion. She has had no active role in any part of a recent event where foreign policy experience played any role.

No, you're simply wrong.

Sent from Trump Plaza's basement using Putin's MacBook.

I can understand if she had some kind of policy and negotiating experience to say her skills can translate to this kind of position with a bit of guidance and training. Plenty of people are bright, but they may not possess the skills to negotiate effectively or build relationships; this position has that requirement among many others. If you've been in government you understand how to work with others to achieve your goals, so it just seems really odd someone who isn't tested at this capacity would be assessed as a good fit.

Because a partisan hack says she isn't qualified, sorry the opinion carries no weight. Do a search on the qualifications of those before her and you will find Ms. Heather is just as qualified. She will be confirmed before the end of January. You can take that to the bank. After all Republicans in the Senate who added to their majority this past election deal with such things will see to it.

In fact with the increase in Republican Senators with the loss of a couple of Flakey Republicans one could never count on, you may start losing sleep over the number of jurists who will add to the many already confirmed that are Constitutionalists far from your socialist thinking that will be pushed through reshaping the judiciary for a generation might well end up being Trump's greatest accomplishment in one term. Confirmations in the Senate will not be an issue. Deal with it.

As usual, an evasive attempt at distraction.

How about we deal with one institution at a time. One shouldn't be beyond your mental capacity.

Please tell me how honest and non-fraudulent (oh let's pick one at random - spins wheel - and the wheel stops at) Trump University was.

Picky, picky, picky.

Besides she looks "Hot" in a bikini.

Again she isn't qualified....trump will fire her in 6 months...You'll blame Hillary

You made the claim. Me calling upon you to back up that claim isnt a 'diversion.' You refusing to answer makes it clear your original post was nothing more than crapola.
