You asked: "What supposed (Kamala) leftist ideas?"
Try these on for size: "Harris appeals to Democrats who favor
- leftist rhetoric regarding inclusion and equality and
I support DEI and BLM. Call me whatever name you want.
- progressive policies such as eliminating private health insurance,
We should have had single payer, universal healthcare 50 years ago.
- imposing mandatory gun buyback programs,
This is debatable. I would support mental heath background checks. Assault weapons should not be in the hands of 99% of citizens, and no public carry unless its a job requirement.
Also questionable. The regulations must be much stricter than they are now to protect groundwater and eliminate earthquakes caused in fracking.
- banning hydraulic fracturing for oil and gas, and
- opposing the hiring of more police officers."
I doubt this. A police officer must be a 2 or 4 year degree and not just a 120 hour course, with annual mandatory psych evals. They are far too many abusive psychos with a badge.
I can only hope Kamala is forced to defend her positions on those stances she has taken over the years in politics.
Conservatives have made Biden out to be a far-left progressive who was too old and weak to serve effectively. Some of that is true, but he really isn't a far-left liberal. Conservatives slammed his tax policies, his college loan forgiveness program and his "Build Back Better" program as utter failures. But compared with Harris, Biden's policies will look moderate.

As a Republican, I bashed Biden. But Harris' far-left ideas scare me even more.
I complained about Joe Biden, but a Kamala Harris presidency would make the last four years look like a Republican has been in charge.www.usatoday.com
