Trump gives Hamas a 'last chance' deadline to agree to a peace plan with Israel

President Trump has given Hamas until Sunday evening to respond to the ceasefire deal the White House proposed earlier this week, which Israel has agreed to.

In a post to Truth Social on Friday morning, Trump said he was giving Hamas a "last chance," or Hamas fighters would be "quickly extinguished." The deadline comes just days before the second anniversary of the conflict.

"If this LAST CHANCE agreement is not reached, all HELL, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump talks out his ass enough, when you use the same rhetoric each time and don't follow through, becomes amusing tedious people still take him as the problem. And less so the people that react to his every dog whistle to make something work. Hats off to any American official on the ground level getting any of this in the works.

It won't be enough though. This could be the hostage takers last surrender in general. Once they don't have the collateral that if Trump were to extinguish in the process he claims is the answer here that would hurt him and BB politically for a few days if done, they dont have anything to negotiate. Hamas probably don't see the people wanting to extinguish them as being trustworthy to talk to but let's see if they can pull off the guilty eyes.

Hamas is a cancer fighting a virus here.

Hamas agrees to release all Israeli hostages outlined in Trump Gaza peace deal: report

Hamas says it will release hostages as part of Gaza proposal

Great, hope it goes to fruition.

I wonder about the “as field conditions for the exchange are met” and “affirms its readiness to immediately enter into negotiations through the mediators to discuss these details” parts of that response. Hamas is quick to pretend to agree with whatever is presented to them, but then changes their terms for doing so.

Who Are the Hostages Still Held By Hamas?

September 2, 2025

More than 22 months after Hamas' massacre of Israelis on October 7, 2023, Palestinian terror groups are still holding 48 men and women—including two Americans—captive in Gaza.

Here are the names of the 48 hostages, what released hostages endured in captivity, how you can take action to help secure the hostages’ release, and how American Jewish Committee (AJC), the global advocacy organization for the Jewish people, is working nonstop to bring them home.

Yes, that is possible. Guess we'll find out Sunday night into Monday morning. Can't trust a word from Hamas, they are just liars, murderers, and terrorists hiding amongst the Palestinians. Never can understand why the Palestinians just don't fight against Hamas to rid themselves of all the problems, destruction, and death. I haven't forgotten them dancing in the streets on the night of Oct. 7th.

“Fight” with what? Israel can’t defeat Hamas with the most advanced tanks and planes money can buy.

Furthermore, why should Palestinians lift a lift a finger to help those carrying out a genocide against them?

From the beginning.....give them Hamas and the hostages and its over.....they chose Hamas.

Of course the MAGA wants to give Trump exclusive credit (not, you know, the war that has largely leveled Gaza and crippled Hamas) and that before anything concrete actually has happened.

Nothing Trump said changed anything. Bibi was clear: he was going to keep the war on even if it completely isolated Israel unless the hostages were released. All Trump said was "I won't stop him from doing that"

Maybe because of Oct 7th, they should rid themselves of those savage terrorists if there's any hint to being civilized. They chose Hamas instead.....make a stupid choice get a stupid prize.

He really needs a new vocabulary.

So, the hostages released, and then what? Does anyone here with an ounce of sagacity believe Hamas won't take an lull in fighting to regroup, re-arm, and recruit new followers?
THEY play the long game. They won't launch another attack next year or the year after, but they will launch another attack on Israel.

Plus I am not convinced the hostages will be released just because Hamas says so.

Easy thing to say for a person without someone's gun to their head in all directions.

How should the Palestinians rid themselves of a network of terrorists organizations that don't much care for them?
