Gun used in Boulder shooting was bought legally.

No, they're not victims, because they knew the risk and gave explicit written consent.

He didn't consent to bad medical advice, so yes, he would be a victim, but not a victim of violence as he did consent to that.

BS.

The military should always be used in good conscience to the forces, and to the innocents that get caught up in warfare.

Bush lacked it. Clinton lacked it.

I thought my post was pretty clear. You are not a victim when you consent. Cops have knowledge of and consent to the risk. A professional boxer is not a victim of violence, because they know of and consent to the violence. A firefighter who dies in a house fire is not a victim, because he knew of and consented to the risk. Soldiers are not victims when killed in combat because we have prior knowledge of and consent to the risk.

The civilian shoppers are the victims, not the cop.
If I get hit by a drunk driver am I not a victim because I consented to the risk of driving? The firemen who died on 9/11 aren't victims?

Your post was clear, your logic is lacking.

Why? You've had no trouble in dismissing certain occupations as being classified as victims. So where do employees of businesses and schools fall? If they practice active shooter drills then clearly there is thought they'd need to possibly face it in the future.
I already said, twice, that certain occupations give affirmative written consent to the risk. This is the part where you're free to take your brain and ask if teachers etc give affirmative written consent to violence. I know of no teaching contract that provides such consent, and I'm willing to bet King Supers employees didn't sign such a contract, nor did the shoppers. If you discover some secret cash of contracts where all such parties did give affirmative written consent to the risk of death or serious bodily injury in the regular performance of their duties, please let me know.

He passed a mandatory background check even with the FBI being aware of him as a threat

The enlistment contract is a blank check you give to the government, permission to even order you to your death on purpose.

Soldiers are not victims.

You're talking about implied consent. I have been very, very clear: affirmative consent. Post a picture of the document you signed in which you gave explicit written consent to being harmed by other drivers the way all police officers sign a contract acknowledging their consent to be exposed to violence as a normal occupational hazard.

These officers gave consent to be shot? And if they gave "affirmative consent" why do we bother prosecuting the shooters?

vic·tim
/ˈviktəm/

noun
  1. a person harmed, injured, or killed as a result of a crime or accident
A cop killed in the lline of duty is the victim of a crime.

I mean the game is over. No more of this John Wayne good guy with a gun bull shit

Not at all. My gun control wants to ban the AR-15
First, multiple good guys with a gun stopped him. One died doing so, leaving behind 7 kids. They were called police.

Second, if you were expecting random civilians in the store to have a gun and stop him..... We're talking about the uber-liberal cesspit known as Boulder, my dude. I'd ask what you're smoking but clearly it's some better ganja than those Boulder folks are always puffing.

The penalty for someone mowing down people like it was carnival game is not severe enough.

You shouldn't continue any further with this.
Are you sure you were in the Navy? Because I have family in the Navy and they don't cower like that.

Was there ever a gun used in a mass shooting that wasn't bought legally?

Mass shooters can be charged with illegal possession of legally purchased firearms. It happens if someone kills people with a gun that was registered to another person. Have you ever heard possession is 99% of the crime? Meaning it is barely your fault if someone else uses your gun to commit murder.

Then why do we prosecute the shooters if this was simply an act of consenting adults?
You have yet to prove that the shoppers consented to the violence.

I didn't have any bad info. This guy was already on the Feds radar and they ignored him

A link would be great. Here's what I found:

Alissa’s identity was known to the FBI because he was linked to another individual under investigation by the bureau, law enforcement sources told the New York Times — though the report didn’t say who that person is, or what they were being probed for.

https://nypost.com/2021/03/23/police-identify-ahmad-alyssa-21-as-suspect-in-boulder-shooting/

Surely you've got more information than what's stated there and what the threat was.
