Obama has done a lot of stuff whether you agree with him or not, he has still done a lot, which means the time until 2013 should be used wisely.
Please list, with links and in minor detail "a lot of stuff" that Obama has done.
What I was saying was that whether you agree with these actions or not, they are still numerous, which means Obama has time to do a lot more "stuff," good or bad.
No links because I'm not gonna spend an hour just to get a point across, these are so obvious that I don't think you need proof:
- Stimulus spending
- Credit card reform
- Copenhagen talks
- Nobel peace prize
- Raising taxes to Clinton era status
- Initiating the pull out of Iraq
- Afghanistan surge of troops
- Initiating health care reform talks
- Lilly Ledbetter Act (not so obvious, solink at bottom)
- Spinelessness on health care reform
- Others I can't think of, but I will get back to you on that
Now, In my book, that's a lot for a president to do in less than a year into his administration, you may or may not think otherwise.
link Yeah its Wikipedia, sue me.
How's that my lord?
Half the list is an opinion, and the other half are actions whose consequences have yet to be seen.

So I will agree that we should give him time, but saying that this is all stuff he's done is kind of a stretch. Unless of course you can provide links and some solid evidence to support said claims. And that Far Pay Act is just more racially driven division crap that he only signed. He didn't create or introduce it to the best of my knowledge.
He's done those things. That's pretty self-evident.
What remains to be seen is whether or not doing those things was good, bad, or a waste of time.
The American people elected Obama (he won the popular vote) - so you can whine that politicians don't rule for the people, but in the US every politician was either directly or indirectly put into power by the will of the people, so if they're unhappy then they should've picked someone else.

You have to admit that we had few expectations of Bush in his first year, where he snoozed up until 9/11, then launched us into an unnecessary war.
We have enormous expectations of President Obama.
People may enter into whatever contracts they wish. If they want to call that contract a "marriage" or a "civil union" then what the hell do I care?
Gay, straight, polygamous...whatever.
Just don't expect the government to validate your lifestyle by institutionalizing it.
Iraq/Afghanistan: D
He ran on getting our troops the hell out of Iraq, that didn't include just moving them all into Afghanistan.
Foreign Policy: F - He broke his promise not to send more troops
Since he's only been in officer for a short time, I'll give him a C (overall).
To be more specific, this is how I would grade him so far:
Economy: C - Again, only time will tell, but at the moment I think he could be cutting spending in some areas.
Foreign Policy: F - He broke his promise not to send more troops, and he's continuing down the road of Bush's foreign policy.
Health Care: D - I know Congress is mostly taking the lead on this, but both Obama and the Democrats need to show some leadership. The health care bill has been watered down. Major reform needs to be done.
Social Issues: A - Since we are focused on fixing the economy and reforming health care, I don't expect him to do much in this area for now.. But so far he has decided not to prosecute Medical Cannabis patients. That is enough for me right now. After the serious issues are dealt with, I'm hoping he will end "Don't Ask Don't Tell."
Like I said.. It's a little too early, but next year I will say more.
