GOPers, tell me why you would be upset if the Dems packed the court if they win control of congress and the Presidency?

Yes. The suing party would have to bring up the packed court case and have the packed court case go all the way to SCOTUS before packed court SCOTUS judge seats are filled.
Yep. It's all about how fast the dems work. If their balls fall off again the court won't be packed.

Say you have a seesaw with a couple rocks on the middle, a couple rocks on the left side, and a few rocks on the right side. The tilt is a little towards the right after someone removed a heavier rock from the left side. Now imagine putting a really heavy rock on the right side such that it would take a lot more new rocks on the left side to balance the scale. This is exactly the situation with the SCOTUS, except the heavy rock once removed is RGB, and the really heavy rock is Amy Coney Barrett.

The heaviness depends on how strong their beliefs are.
A SCOTUS of 'equal political ideologies' doesn't decide any necessary, IMO, Earth-moving decisions. The status would always be quo in SCOTUS.

There would always be slavery with a SCOTUS consisting of the status quo. There would always be a demand for women's suffrage with a SCOTUS consisting of the status quo.

When the status quo of the pollical ideology of SCOTUS changes, that is a direct indication of the change in the will of the American people since elections have consequences.

The will of the people in 2016 was they wanted obama making the pick but Mcconnell deprived the people of the choice.
Oh right- the Senate doesn't count. Got it.

What is unconstitutional, IMO, is the artificial majority advantage that is produced for a political ideology by an increase in the number of SCOTUS seats.
You dopey <EDIT: authoritarian END OF EDIT> dems sure demand your nuclear options, don't you?:ROFLMAO:

Awww..... So no actual constitutional reason why the number of justices can't be changed just your opinion.

Lol. Again, no, its not.

How many times have Leftist Activists tried, and failed, to stop the "travel ban?" Keep in mind, that's a policy both well within the scope of the President's Constitutional powers, and literally no different than those enacted by the last several presidents.

Who were the parties in those lawsuits?

We all know what the Dems will do if the win the Senate and WH. They CRAVE political power. Ends justify any means.
Don't pay any attention to their pretense of high-mindedness.

Projection: Accusing your opponent of the very thing that you yourself do.

There would be a will of the people expressed if Biden were elected but there is no will of the people to pack the court. Amendments change The Constitution, ya know.

And a bunch of modern bigoted Communist white dudes want to change it. Your point?
Point is the constitution is outdated and was written in a time when the founders thought the people were idiots and pure democracy is a bad idea.

Projection: Accusing your opponent of the very thing that you yourself do.
You don't know what court packing is, so, how can you accuse someone else of doing it?

Constitution was written in the 1700 by racist old white dudes.
Were you a founding father? 'Cause you have all the other attributes of a founding father.:ROFLMAO: Well, mebe, not old.

I still very much believe that. lol

There is no amendment needed to expand the court... How do you know what the will of the people is regarding the number of justices?

There is a thing called an amendment that was proposed by the founders to change The Constitution to make it more up to date. Now, there's the authoritarian way to change The Constitution with judicial legislations from the bench (or court packing).

There is no amendment needed to expand the court... How do you know what the will of the people is regarding the number of justices?
How do you know the will of the people is to expand SCOTUS? Hum?

How do you know the will of the people is to expand SCOTUS? Hum?

By electing a democrat house, senate and president... Isn't that the same justification you use for the GOP?
