Was that guy a Democratic party official of any kind? Was that an official publication of the Democratic party?
Van Jones anyone?
Was that guy a Democratic party official of any kind? Was that an official publication of the Democratic party?
Was the guy in question here speaking for the Republican Party?
And Rall has been regularly published in Time, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Fortune -- does he speak for those publications?
Probably not, but he was the editor of the Republican party's newsletter, where this was published. You'd be crying out to crucify every Democrat if this appeared with a donkey on it instead of an elephant.
I don't care what the official position of any magazine is. I do care what the Republican party thinks. I don't think that this is in anyway official GOP thought, but maybe that just means they should be careful about what's said in their name.
Van Jones anyone?
again...its conspiracy by all benchmark of this site

Go start a thread in Where's My Binky and leave upstairs to the adults.
Probably not
In the end, he did use the disclaimer that it's just his opinion, not the GOP's, which is fine.

This is not proven...
I can nto find one valid news source to prove any of this.. its just hot air and nonsense...
can you point me to a valid source of this story that is not left wing blogging or internet nonsense?
You say this as though he did this with the blessing of the Republican party, or that this guy has some kind of history of saying things like this which the RNC should have been aware of and kept him away from county newsletters. Can you show any of this?
But hey, as you brought it up, do you want to go combing through every possible little Democrat newsletter and see what embarrassing stuff can be churned up? Are you confident that there isn't any? And in that case, do you "care what the Democratic party thinks" on exactly the same basis?
right... cuz liberals would never do anything violent to protest for their cause...
Do you want to talk about what this guy said in the GOP newsletter, or do you want to attack me.
How many times have I read that "personal attacks when you can't defend the topic are a hallmark of the Left" on this very site? .....
You'd be crying out to crucify every Democrat if this appeared with a donkey on it instead of an elephant.
You mean are too decent or too evolved to do that kind of thing.
I am discussing the issue, and what you said.
Sorry, rocket, but this post of yours was a pretty flimsy deflection away from your own line of argument.
Fine I'll edit it. Various Right-wingers on this board would be calling for the crucifixion of every last Democrat. Possibly, or possibly not including you.
Then I'll ask you again: should something embarrassing printed in a(ny) county Democratic newsletter be taken as indicative of "what the Democratic party thinks"?
Well, here's the acutal publication:
http://www.gcrcgop.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/march2012.pdf
It's on page 7.
So unless the "gcrcGOP" (Greene County Republican Committee, GOP) is devoted to left-wing blogging nonsense...
Do you think that if such a thing happened, the right wouldn't pounce on it and say exactly that?
