Probably not, but he was the editor of the Republican party's newsletter, where this was published. You'd be crying out to crucify every Democrat if this appeared with a donkey on it instead of an elephant.

I don't care what the official position of any magazine is. I do care what the Republican party thinks. I don't think that this is in anyway official GOP thought, but maybe that just means they should be careful about what's said in their name.

You say this as though he did this with the blessing of the Republican party, or that this guy has some kind of history of saying things like this which the RNC should have been aware of and kept him away from county newsletters. Can you show any of this?

But hey, as you brought it up, do you want to go combing through every possible little Democrat newsletter and see what embarrassing stuff can be churned up? Are you confident that there isn't any? And in that case, do you "care what the Democratic party thinks" on exactly the same basis?

And how is that working out for you guys across the pond? As we read daily of nazi's gaining power in Greece, people wanting to raise taxes so high in France the rich are talking about relocating, and in general things are falling apart.

Pretty ironic that 70 or so years after their defeat, Germany is still the one running and holding the EU together.

I suspect they would. But my question wasn't about that, or what "the left" does. It was about what rocket88 himself said vis-a-vis this particular newsletter.
