GOP mulls new names for the party

Since the GOP no longer represents, well, really anything (see 2020 non-platform), there has been discussion of renaming the party. Nominations are now welcome. Among the leading candidates to date: Participants of the Erstwhile Republican Party (PERPs), the BRP (the Banana Republican Party - Banana Republicans), and Party of Trump Sycophantic Devotees (PTSD).
 
This wasn't a poll, but I would have chosen the BRP.

Well they have demonstrated they are the Trump Spunk Party (TPS). Might as well go with that.
 
Cult of Trump (CoT) and Retrumplicans.
 
Although it is a mouthful, it is descriptive.
 
The trump party(TTP), the Nationalist Populist party, the Mexico will Pay for it Not party, Build the Wall One Day Soon party, End Endless Wars Someday Maybe Party, The Spending Party, The king of debt Party, election fraud party, trump socialism party, the dominate protesters party, The only complain about Fisa abuse when it happens to me Party.

Y'know, normally I don't like the use of disrespectful nicknames in politics, no matter who is the target.

However, the events of the past 4 years in general, and the last month in particular, are so outrageous, so damaging, to the point nearly of treason, that the Republican Party no longer deserves that basic level of respect. Thus...

"Banana Republicans" works for me.

I think Joe and friends will screw up everything so bad in the next years it won't matter what they call themselves.
You're about to find out what incompetence actually looks like. Not like the BS you made up about Trump. This will be real.

That's not fair to Banana Republicans. They at least pretended to be better, to have some limits.

They could combine the name of the party with their slogan and call the new party "Still Hoping In Trump."

The acronym might be problematic, though.

The Republican Ethno-American Syndicate of Naysayers. It combines doublespeak (a conservative specialty) with highfalutin meaningless words. The acronym, however, describes it best. We're way past giving "room" for these temper tantrums.
