GOP Debate #10 Discussion Thread

The two cubans are taking it to the old white guy. Call the cops this is a brutal assault!!!!

How do you manage it requiring no denial for pre-existing conditions without a mandate. People can just go without insurance until they have health problems.

taking unintended policy consequences into account is not exactly a strong suit of The Donald.

I'm missing tonight's debate. I'll try to listen to it at work tomorrow. No reading posts either---don't want to see the spoilers.

"I don't want socialized medicine....I just want the government to pay for healthcare for people. But I don't want socialized medicine"

This is a ****ing train wreck.

Like a www fight. All we need is someone to bring a table or chair. wow.

He said he liked the mandate, defended the mandate, and then when pushed, retreated on the mandate. Because He Never Backs Down! Except... all those times... that he continually does...

Also apparently lied about Justice Alito and his sister. Justice Alito's statement was to state that he did not join Justice Barry's position.

Can you find a source for the bolded point?

How many on stage support removing Medicare?

Cut the EPA? Send it to the states? That's working real good in Michigan.

Really??? I didn't hear him say that tonight. Maybe I missed it.

He also said I don't like the abortion portion of planned parenthood but they do a lot of great things for women. I still will defund them but they still do good work...

???

Your head will spin.

And the American economy will flounder miserably.

That was a definite successful Rubio hit on Trump.

Trump's getting flushed and he's being flushed out.
He refuses to give specifics because he doesn't have any .

Kasich will not talk bad about anyone else up there.

Quote from Donald Trump:

“We do need health care for all people,” Trump said at a rally here this week. “What are we gonna do, let people die in the street?”

Hey Donald, if you give healthcare to all people from the government, that's socialized medicine.

If you want to argue for it, fine. I actually think there's a certain level of that which may not be a horrible idea. But just be up front with it and stop trying to play both sides. This is why there's folks here that don't believe you're sincere, that don't believe you mean what you say, that think you're selling a bill of goods and saying anything to get elected. It's why, much like you didn't give a **** about your employees or investors when your companies declared bankruptcy because YOU came out okay, we figure you're not going to give a **** about what happens with America as long as you leave the Presidency with things better for you.

And he'll still pick up 4 points.

And the weird part is, Kasich is the least conservative...

Kasich gives up multiple openings - running to be Trump VP right now.

Trump won't talk specifics, he just keeps coming back to what republicans want to hear. Hammers it home.

Normally that's a bad thing, but I think with the political environment what it is and the people's hatred of the Washington critters at it's highest, I think it's dead on triangulation.

No, no, no, not tax returns again this year...

Trump attacks Kasich and Kasichs' response is to reply that he knows that the energy sector is important to Donald.

:doh
