How does having a Mexican wife prove that he doesn't hate Mexicans? How do you know how he treats his wife?

Hmm I don’t think his wife even really qualifies as Castiza. Not to cast aspersions on her heritage but she’s pretty white, probably mixed, this is what the child of an entirely European man and maybe a lighter skinned mestizo looks like. Definitely Güera

“Colorism” Is certainly a thing in Mexico though. And Latin America broadly. In poor communities in Latin America, darker skin women are encouraged by their family to snag a lighter man whenever they can.

If you hate someone of a particular ethnicity, because of their ethnicity, why would you take them as your wife and then use them to bear your legitimate offspring? That seems pretty weird to me.

Ethnicity isn't hereditary. So it's possible that the (hypothetical) racist just wants a wife with reduced options of her own, to be a nanny to his white-enough children.

Surely you're not so naive as to think marriage and parenthood requires true love? That doesn't seem like you.

I think to the extent possible, most fathers would prefer that their wife raise their children especially when they’re young. Most women would prefer to do this if it were economically feasible. A stay at home mother is not a free nanny. A mother has a different relationship with a child than a nanny.

It depends on what we mean by love. I would agree that it does not require a modern conception of romantic love like seen in fairytales, it certainly would not be a long lasting arrangement though if there is a presence of hatred.

Also, included in the language of the infrastructure act, small companies will bid on government contracts, but "priority" will be given to small black owned businesses before White owned small struggling businesses.

It stands to reason that if a White man has a minority wife, then its difficult to imagine the White man as being a "racist".
This would include if he had a Mexican wife IMO.

And if you can sit through Woolford's profuse self-excuses about how he can't possibly be racist, without cringing, then you must be some flavor of racist yourself. That shit does not fly with anyone who is truly color-blind.

And to be fair, Elizabeth Warren gets to present herself as an Indian, when she is only 1/ 1024. I’m sure a white guy especially from the south, has more black blood in his bloodline than that. Just use the one drop rule and he can easily secure those government contracts.
