When you post on a forum like this, which is a debate forum, you should expect to be challenged and ready for debate when it occurs on a debate forum.

Now, there are legitimate ways to respond to someone who replies to and/or debates you. You can choose to do nothing and not respond. This choice simply denotes that you do not wish to debate, it doesn't mean the other person wins, just that you aren't going to rise to the debate. Or, it may just need some time to come up with a good rebuttal.

You can choose to actually debate and defend your position with information and data that you feel supports your position and is able to refute the person challenging you. You can't win if you won't reasonably defend yourself. There is no way you can. But by providing evidence to support your position, your challenger has to look at what you provide, understand it and if possible, counter it. Who knows, you may have something your opponent never considered or didn't know and now has concede the point. And no, simply saying "google it" does it. You have to give specifics.

Now, the reason why I say I win here is very simple. You chose not to debate. But you also didn't choose to simply not respond. What you did, which is so telling for you guys, is the desire to have the last snarky comment, as if that was your winning blow. There was no sharing of information, there was defense of your position, just a snarky comment because you cannot abide the fact that you seem to be unable to make a cogent rebuttal, that you have to say something so you "feel" like you are winning. Because for you guys, to lose the battle is to the war, so no battle can be lost...so you settle for trying to be clever without debating.

And yes, you do have to provide something to defend your position. Again, to make this point, this is a debate forum. Having the last word and being snarky does not mean you win. It just shows you can't defend your position in a debate. Hence, I win.

Why do you think they are at such high percentages if true. On this forum I have used the Japanese rice example to explain this. All of those things that have a high tariff, are things the provide for themselves and don't want our product. Why would you pay for outside products when you don't them and you can make them more cheaply. So, avoid someone from screwing up a good thing, they make sure we cannot flood their markets with products they don't want or even need from us.

And if they have been doing this for decades, then guess what...they were never taking our money. And we didn't care, until Trump ****ed it up as he usually does.

That's a legitimate opinion, but I'm willing to give Trump a lot more latitude than that. He's only been in office for about 2 months and Democrats are going to do everything they can to interfere with him.

The White House needs to do a better job distributing their talking points..... OTH, this will probably work well again this Friday.

I think everyone could enjoin on a class action suit against the white house for damages associated with whiplash...

The power to levy tariffs lays with Congress. A lawsuit arguing that Trumps tariffs constitute a misuse of his tariffs abilities by not actually pertaining to national security is not an example of lawfare.

Unless you're about to argue putting tariffs on Botswana is vital to American national security.
