God loves tariffs, stop your whining! (2 Viewers)

I know how tariffs. You clearly don't recognize negotiation when you see it.
Negotiation about what? You can't ask a country to stop unfair trade practices by practicing them yourself. Countries are boycotting us because of these unfair tariffs and you talk about negotiation. Trump is hurting Americans far more than anyone else and China could not be happier to watch us fail. Trump is bankrupting America like he has done to all his other businesses.

You rationalize Trump's dysfunctional behaviour as "negotiating". We are way past that.

You clearly think what Trump has said and done in the last months is "normal" functional dialoge that makes sense.

Well in regards to tarrifs many think what he has done in that regard is NOT NEGOTIATING:

"Something is definitively wrong and worrying about US President Donald Trump. His mental state is questionable considering his behavior and his erratic, reckless and delusional statements.

He has made gratuitous insults, threats and attacks against many countries, including close allies, and would seem to have no hesitation in provoking an international trade war. Moreover, his rhetoric seems to get more and more violent as time goes by.

Such pronouncements and threats could be very disruptive politically and economically to international relations. This could lead to a drop in international trade, throw many economies into a severe economic recession, and possibly be a repetition of the policy mistakes of 1929-1939, which led to an economic depression.

President Trump would be well advised to refrain from creating havoc in the world. He should tone down his insults, threats and attacks against other sovereign countries and against international institutions.

In this day and age, when the threat of a nuclear conflict still exists and is indeed very present, it is no time to yield to impulsive actions and to adopt improvised policies. It is a time for cooler heads and for rationality to prevail, with the aim of making the world more peaceful and more prosperous for all." 1

and is not in the best economic intetests of the US:

" If the US wanted to promote local manufacturing of, say, semiconductors, electric vehicles, or solar panels, limited tariffs in those sectors could help. This is what the Joe Biden administration attempted. However, what Trump is doing is completely different. Widespread blanket tariffs on countries around the world are not a tool of industrial policy; they are a form of trade war.

Instead of crafting a coherent industrial policy, Trump is imposing austerity and eroding government capacity, mixing Reaganomics with protectionism.

Rather than investing in education and job training programs for reindustrialization, Trump is signing executive orders to dismantle the Department of Education.

Trump has even torn up the very bare-bones attempt at industrial policy that was pursued by the Biden administration, undoing the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and attacking the CHIPS Act.

This will not reindustrialize the United States." 2

We're not way past anything, Trump's administration has just begun. Hold on, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Talk about an organization that needs to lose its tax exempt status. Religion blows!
Agreed. McCoy needs to be removed from religion. He is nothing but a zealot scumbag.

I am ABSOLUTELY for removing his tax exempt status.

Be careful what you ask for. I can't tell you how many black churches I've been in that have political services regularly.

If that is the case, they need to lose their tax-exempt status.

There will be no mixing of government and religion. The consequences of such behavior will be severe.

See the data on the number of time Trump attended church after he lost the election. I think it is close to none. Recall the video of him being asked to quote a single passage from the bible. Hilarious

Trump had an affair with Jim Baker.

Of course you can't - because that number is probably zero. In any case, it isn't likely that those churches have any government support, so no conflict of interests is at stake.

Why do you embarrass yourself by making such comments on things about which you have no way of knowing?

"Tariffs are just a negotiating tactic, but they're also the key to our economic golden age, but they can be put on and off every other day because it's just the art of the deal".

Amen, just look at some of the folks on here. They can't even shit without god's approval. They act and sound like they are not running their own lives because they can't trust themselves to do the right thing without god's help. Just wow.

Replace "god" with "the state" and it describes the political left perfectly.

Yes we are way past anyone trying to claim what Trump has done with tariffs is "negotiating".

Bullying is not negotiating. Bullying, the behaviour Truimp engages in is evidence by his repeated use of words and non verbal posturing ttry intimidate another person with the intent to control, intimidate, or ridicule/insult them.

As we have repeatedly seen with Trump whether its other politicians, world leaders, Judges, anyone he thinks threatens/challenges or disagrees with him he tries to engage in using abusive language. social attacks, physical aggression, and taunting and he will do it in person, at controlled public displays including media meetings, speeches or via social media or the internet or his twitter.

I was a family mediator for over 20 years and a hostage negotiator for over 5. I can tell you I dealt with my share of hostile situations and bulllies and NO you can not negotiate with a bully. They can not hear you.

They bully or lash out because they panic from their fear. It is a reactive fear reflex not a strategy. They do not plan it or think it out as a strategy- it is a triggered reflex reaction.

To even remotely want to negotiate with such a person one would first have to change the environment whereby the bully has no stage, no audience to fear being embarassed or look weak in front of.

The bully is in a state of emotive reaction and so they do think logically or control their impulses.-in their mind they take or it will bne taken from them. It is an all or nothing war.

So to even think anyone is going to negotiate with Trump is silly.

The best anyone can do is try negotiate with specialist advisors of him without him present and hope they can find a way to bring back the message and restate it to him in a way where he can save face and make any solution sound as if he created it.

At this point Trump has severe Pick's disease, a type of frontal lobe deterioiration when added to his pre-excisting attention deficit hyper activity disorder, anti social personality disorder, inability to read, write and understand numbers clearly, is a very real challenge in any kind of communication to him. Trump can not read, write or work with numbers anymore. He is bluffing his way through questions posed to him as he can not remember what he was advised of and does not know hot to read notes he is given.

He needs to hear things in very short explanations with no assumption he can pick up nuances, abstract analogies or anythng that requires being able to see more than one possibility or use more than one word for the same idea.

This seems accurate, and scratches the surface of Trump's litany of psychopathologies. The man is at least 7 or 8 chapters deep into the Big Book of Crazy, and he's on a rampage with his reacquired powers. His idea of "deal making" and "negotiation" is really nothing more than extortion! He listens and hears nothing, and just keeps repeating what he wants until people relent, consenting to give in to him. He's the Don that makes them an offer they can't refuse, just like his call to Brad Raffensperger in Georgia, January 2nd, 2021.

"I just want to find 11,780 votes." then Trump tried to intimidate Raffensperger, hinting that Brad and his attorney could face a possible criminal investigation. "You know, that's a criminal offense. And you know, you can't let that happen. That's a big risk to you." ...
Translation: "GET ME 11,780 VOTES ASAP".

Trump is one sick ****, should be on meds and under observation, and confined to a room at Mar-A-Lardo while wearing an ankle bracelet.

Dude, we're only 2 months into Trump's administration! International negotiations don't get done in an hour and a half.
