Give a man a fish he eats for a day...

I love John Lott. I could talk about him all day. He is hilarious. I heard one of his students raved about him on the internet....and then we found out it was really John Lott doing that. LOL

Did you look at the data presented?

Does the website represent all CCW holders Mr. Trump? Does it represent the majority of CCW holders? President Trump's has shown tons of evidence that shows Mexican Americans are here to steal or stuff and rape our women...

It represents far to great a number of them

You claimed there was no mention of schools. Just trying to help with your lack of understanding. You are welcome.

Well there wasn't. LOL

Like this guy?
On August 16, 2014, concealed handgun permit holder Glenn Patrick Lampien, 53, shot and killed May Araim, 68, as she walked down North Main Street in the “faux-Alpine village” resort town of Helen, Georgia. Lampien’s handgun apparently fired unintentionally, with a round wounding his hand before striking and killing Araim as she walked with several of her relatives. On January 17, 2017, Glenn Patrick Lampien was found guilty of two counts of involuntary manslaughter in the death of May Araim.

A freak accident. I doubt seriously that Lampien was licensed to concealed carry. It wasn't even determined that he had removed the weapon from its holster when the shot occurred. The anti-gun lobby sites you probably found this story on say he was licensed but give no evidence. None of the media accounts say he was. The bullet went through Lampien's hand, hit the sidewalk, and ricocheted across the street to strike and kill the woman. One in 10 million odds that would happen. The odds were much better that the woman would be hit by lightning than killed by a bullet in such an accident. Lampien probably would not have been charged at all if he had not been drunk at the time.

Now what are the odds that a teacher, administrator, or school janitor will be drunk and accidentally kill 12 or 20 children?

That we should not trust a CCW to be a cop

By that claim, we shouldn't trust cops to be cops. We aren't asking them to be cops. We're allowing them to act in the case of an active shooter.

I wish he was the only example. He's not

Even you must admit John Lott is a joke

LOL compared to hacks like Hemenway and Josh Sugarmann? Lott started out as an anti gun advocate. His research caused him to change.

I think the number of cops charged with those crimes is far far less

Well all the gun money didn't hurt either. LOL

I accept your concession

I accept the fact that your posts demonstrate a complete lack of understanding of this and other gun issues and your motivation appears to be a desire to engage in contrarian nonsense because you don't like the politics of the NRA and its members.

you seem ignorant of the money Soros and the Joyce Foundation pour into the bannerrhoid movement

Thank you for your opinion

Now give the odds of a freak accident like that compared to the estimated 2 million crimes annually that are prevented by 'amateur' citizens with firearms.

I doubt those numbers. Please don't quote Lott ot Kleck again....they are laughable

What useful purpose comes from your incessant repetition of such a childish term?

It defines your position as your own personal opinion without being rude

You have not the credentials to question the status of researchers such as Kleck, BTW

well she can quote the Obama DOJ that came up with several hundred thousand

Happy?

It defines your position as your own personal opinion without being rude

but since I am an expert, my opinion is something people can bank on. Opinions of people who have no expertise, well their opinions are worthless
