I debated with myself over putting it in mainstream. I did put the Vanity Fair article this one references in Mainstream Media. Both Salon and Vanity Fair are big magazines been around a long time that are only "skews left", so yes there's slant but it's still factual reporting.

There isn't one named source in either the Salon story or the Vanity Fair story that Salon echoed. In fact, most of the sources are third-hand sources...someone who talked to someone who talked to someone. Vanity Fair even includes a reference to a NYT article that is based on...Yup...unnamed sources.

And finally, Vanity Fair ends with, “You’re already hearing people speculate Trump could do a deal and resign.” from an unnamed source. I mean...seriously? Why on earth would anyone care about "hearing" about people "speculating" that Trump "could" do something? Hell, why would any article writer who wanted to be considered credible even run this kind of story?


So...markjs...you are right about one thing: Both Salon and Vanity Fair are magazines that "skews left". But there is no way on earth you can say "it's still factual reporting" when nothing can be verified.

No matter how bad Muellers report may be, Trump will not resign. Sure the guy is delusional and a narcissist, but he is a fighter. I dont believe resigning is even remotly part of his psyche.

I think he'd like a deal to save his ass before the **** fully hits the fan. I think with Rudy so doubtful they know there is no way out of this looking clean. He just wants to be free and stay rich. I doubt that will happen (stay rich) but staying free, oh year the GOP will work that out for him. Corporate dems will be complicit, thinking about their own future asses.:roll:

I can't imagine what you're finding funny here. Weird. But let me know when 40 witnesses show up to claim that Giuliani is lying and that he did say that he expects a "horrific" report.

In the meantime, think about the difference between opinion and fact: I haven't even expressed an opinion; what I've done is quote and provide links to what Giuliani himself said about this. The man says he didn't say it. This is a fact. Try working with fact rather than on projecting and inventing a point of view for somebody else.
