All through the 2016 campaign Trump never missed an opportunity to call the election 'rigged'-as you say in an attempt at preemptive defence in case he lost. Of course he then won and there was no further mention of rigging! After all if it was 'rigged' his election would not be legitimate.

It was also Trump's investigating team who asserted (much to Trump's disgust), that there was no evidence of fraud significant enough to materially affect the election result. Of course the MAGA cult don't want to hear about that...

Good point. Bogus crimes like hacking voting machines and talk about manufacturing votes shouldn't count. Why? Because the Trumpers say so. I think I'll stay with the Justice Department and hope everybody gets a fair trial with lots of evidence and witnesses.
