Breaking news in Florida. I hope we keep our 'Stand Your Ground Law' here. We need it as the crime rate is dropping.
George Zimmerman wife arrested: George Zimmerman's wife arrested, charged with perjury - Orlando Sentinel
Curiouser and curiouser.
However, prosecutors say Shellie Zimmerman spent the days before that hearing shifting thousands of dollars out of her husband's account, then deliberately lied to the judge.
On Tuesday, she was arrested on a perjury charge and booked into John E. Polk Correctional Facility, the same jail her husband has called home since the deception was revealed earlier this month, leading the judge to revoke his bond.
Looks like small-time thinking in a big-time game.

WTH?I thought the judge would let it slide.

WTH?
The Judge?
Did you actually read what you provided?
It was the Assistant State Attorney John Guy, or in other words, the State Attorney's Office.
It was there fault for not asking the proper question to begin with.
And therefore, a pathetic move on their part.
Except that she didn't lie.Lesson = don't cover for your spouse and lie to a judge thinking you'll get away with it while you're at the very center of an international case in which god himself wants to see the trial on tv.
No dear. That is your schtick. I wouldn't think of encroaching upon your territory. Its always someone else's fault with you...

I am surprised by this.. I thought the judge would let it slide.

Im not really interested enough in this case to re-look up the transcript, but didnt the transcript show her being asked how much was there, her saying she didnt know exactly how much was there but the brother in law did and then offer to call the brother in law? This really looks like the prosecution is making this a personal vendetta and I cant see how this plays well with potential jurors.Lesson = don't cover for your spouse and lie to a judge thinking you'll get away with it while you're at the very center of an international case in which god himself wants to see the trial on tv.
You think that makes a difference to what you said. :dohMy link had few details.

There was more than one open ended question which could have been appropriately answered with the fact that there were tens of thousands of dollars she was moving around among accounts.Im not really interested enough in this case to re-look up the transcript, but didnt the transcript show her being asked how much was there, her saying she didnt know exactly how much was there but the brother in law did and then offer to call the brother in law?
It wasn't her money and therefore she was not in the position.Sounds like lies to me, given the money transfers going on immediately prior to the hearing:
It wasn't her money and therefore she was not in the position.
I would suggest you actually look at what she was asked in regards to an estimate.asked was if Shellie could estimate the amount of money.
Do you always deny support to those who haven't?Do you always throw your support for those most likely to have committed a crime?
Sounds like lies to me, given the money transfers going on immediately prior to the hearing:
