By NYS law the only body that can remove him is the NY Supreme Court. If the NY GOP are so disgusted with him why haven't they taken to the Supreme Court. For that matter the NY Dems or the voters? Has anyone heard of any court action against him?

The NY state Supreme Court threw out the DEM remap, giving Santos a more friendly seat. Let Santos be another ‘Hastert’ GOP face.

Ultimately, it’s up to the people of Santos’s district. Afterall, they voted him in. Even if they voted on one huge lie after another. I think the House ethics committee ought to take up the Santos case. McCarthy is way too interested in preserving his razor thin majority that to do what’s right. The house does have the power to expel any member with a 2/3rds vote. Article I, Section 5 of the U.S. Constitution. That vote needs to be held.

I dont know what McCarthy plans to do about it if anything. But his action or inaction does not somehow make Santos the 'face of the party' Thats just stupid

The voters can only act in 2024.. There is no recall process in NYS. Maybe it's a good thing that he will be a constant reminder to all voters about the ethics of the GOP.

Not only doing Jack Shit, he's put a freshman congressman onto two committees. That's an expression of approval and confidence, right there. A fast-track to prominence.
