In a ruling that should shock no one: Israel has been engaging in genocide. As a matter of policy. Meaning the Israeli government has been in the process of systematically annihilating a people, in full or in part. This is not war, it's murder and it includes things beyond murder. Like engaging in a process of preventing births.

What now? Do we pretend that it's not happening because the UN is full of blood libelous antisemites?

Is that the game we're going to play? Or do we just pretend that the UN is irrelevant and that only power matters?

Show me that you're good person. Or not. It's your life, your conscience. Do with it what you will.

Just know that if you cross this threshold of denying genocide, you're officially in the camp of the Holocaust deniers to the civilized world.

Anyways, imagine if the world listened to the left from the beginning, what might have been averted.

What has this conflict demonstrated if not exactly this? Zionists have a coordinated franchise which is clearly more influential in the foreign policy space than its opposition. What is the UN against the foreign policy apparatus of the most powerful empire on the planet, which is conveniently the only world power really capable of actually adjudicating UN policy.

Anyways, imagine if the world listened to the left from the beginning, what might have been averted.

Eh. If we're being honest I think examining Israeli influence on US foreign policy requires a lot of uncomfortable discussion. Given the status of left wing grievance narratives I'm not sure if a left wing critique of Israel can actually be turned into coherent policy without devouring itself due to its inevitably "antisemitic" conclusions.

We might have even avoided this whole American presidency as well.

That would have been a win-win situation for the globe.

Yep, the UN has been complicit with Arab nations and Muslim terrorist groups from the beginning. Israel has a right to defend it's citizen from terrorists no matter where the terrorists run to hide. Every Muslim country in the area, including Qatar. It includes all of Europe as they did hunting down the killers who struck Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics.

Go Israel

Falsely accusing Israel of genocide means that Israel gets to keep the West Bank for themselves.

Good job UN. Israel couldn't have done it without all your hate.

Israel murdered the UN mediator, Count Bernadotte, in a terrorist attack. Spare us the nonsense about the UN being “complicit” in anything other than trying to uphold international law.

Gee, where in international law does it say that, exactly?

So sad.

“Genocide” is the wrong term.

What Israel has been doing for decades is more aptly defined as “ethnic cleansing”.

Yeah, it’s indeed sad that Israel murdered a man who rescued large numbers of people from Nazi camps, including many Jewish people.

Israel will do whatever is necessary to defend it's people and it's borders. Get used to it.

Actually it is apparent that the same people who are Holocaust deniers are also accusing Israel of genocide for targeting terrorists and defending its people.

Explain, in detail, how murdering the UN mediator could in any way be considered “self defense”
Bernadotte was not killed by any Israeli member, he was killed by a radical Zionist underground group.

Actually it is apparent that the same people who are Holocaust deniers are also accusing Israel of genocide for targeting terrorists and defending its people.

Exactly! The truth is that the state of Isreal has been attacked several times by Arab nations and terrorist groups Each time Israel has been able to successfully subdue those attackers, force them to stop fighting, and then stop there own counter-attacks.

Note: Israel stopped fighting once it protected itself. Is it even remotely imaginable that if those attackers had gained the upper hand and were able to destroy Israel that they would then stop fighting? Not an f***ing chance in the world. They would have destroyed the state of Israel and slaughtered as many Jews as they could get their hands on.

Like, influence in the world of finance, media, and lobbying? Or are those tropes?

Oh look, apocalypse is hurling around the term “Holocaust denier” without proof again.

This has retroactive implications. If this government has engaged in genocide, and it has, have the Palestinians ever had a willing partner for peace?

It's going to be a heavy lift to explain away the facts of this UN decision. Sleep well. Beyond that, I'm not interested engaging in political discussions with genocide deniers, promoters, and apologists. These people have the psychological equivalent of rabies.

The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory has concluded that Israel has committed genocide in the Gaza Strip, finding reasonable grounds to believe that Israeli authorities and security forces have carried out four of the five acts prohibited under the Genocide Convention. The report states that these acts were committed with the specific intent to destroy the Palestinian group in Gaza, in whole or in part. The findings are based on a comprehensive examination of evidence from 7 October 2023 to 31 July 2025, including the conduct and statements of Israeli authorities.

  • The Commission found that Israeli forces have intentionally killed Palestinian civilians, including children, in homes, hospitals, schools, and religious buildings, both inside and outside designated safe zones. This includes the killing of 5-year-old Hind Rajab and her family in January 2024, where Israeli forces shot at civilians, including children holding white flags, with some children being shot in the head by snipers.
  • The report details that Israeli forces have caused serious bodily and mental harm to Palestinians through direct attacks, severe mistreatment of detainees, forced displacement, and environmental destruction.
  • The Commission concluded that Israel deliberately inflicted conditions of life calculated to bring about the physical destruction of Palestinians in Gaza, including the imposition of a total siege, blocking humanitarian aid leading to starvation, and the systematic destruction of healthcare, education, and water systems.
  • The report cites the December 2023 attack on Gaza’s largest fertility clinic, al-Basma IVF, which reportedly destroyed around 4,000 embryos and 1,000 sperm samples and unfertilised eggs, as evidence of measures intended to prevent births.
  • The Commission found that statements by Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog, and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, constitute direct evidence of genocidal intent. Netanyahu’s use of phrases like "wicked city" and "turn them into rubble," Gallant’s description of Palestinians as "human animals," and Herzog’s statement that "it’s an entire nation out there that is responsible" were cited as incitement.
  • The Commission concluded that the pattern of conduct by Israeli authorities and security forces, including the use of wide-impact munitions and the targeting of protected objects, indicates that genocidal intent was the only reasonable inference from the totality of the evidence.
  • The report states that the acts of Israeli political and military leaders are attributable to the State of Israel, which therefore bears responsibility for the commission of genocide and the failure to prevent and punish it.

What has this conflict demonstrated if not exactly this?

Well, this is what separates Right and Left ideology and politics. Power as it relates to the human condition. The Right believe in the consolidation of power so that they can enforce their will, with violence if necessary. The Left believe in the democratization of power; equality.

The Right believe that truth is downstream from power, the Left believe that certain truths are immutable.

'Might Makes Right' is thus a Right-Wing concept.

It's going to be a heavy lift to explain away the facts of this UN decision.
Hardly. The only thing that Israel needs to do is keep the West Bank all to themselves as a punishment for falsely accusing them of genocide.

Problem solved.
