Gen Mattis says Trump is a threat to Constitution

A good example is General Tommy Franks and his second of command, General Mike Delong. They did a wonderful job in Iraq and Afghanistan with resources they had.

We would have fared far worse had Hillary won so I am pleased with Trump. Pence would make a wonderful president in 2024.

Two excellent books should be studied by those interested in command of armies.

Attorneys and DOJ employees take the more common version of this oath. Same that public officials do. Those who want to ban guns are enemies of the constitution.

I am comfortable that this fall Trump will win again. Do you see the private surveys? It is difficult to trust the same surveys that got it wrong last time.

You sound like someone who is ignorant of the million men and boys who were wounded or killed going over the top on the orders of generals behind the front line during the Battle of the Somme in 1916. These generals were expert at causing the maiming and deaths of their own troops as much as the enemies'. Socialists have been singularly anti-war.

Those generals abhorred the loss of men and tactics constantly changed to reduce casualties and end the war

An exception might be US General Pershing who ordered attacks for the 11th November 1918

I've seen it said that the US army lost more men in the 11 hours of 11/11/18 than it did on 6/6/44.
