GE Workers in Ohio and South Carolina Walk Out To Protest Vaccination Mandate (1 Viewer)

A strike really only works if a substantial amount of the workforce in a company strikes. 750 workers is a drop in the bucket to GE. GE has every right to require this and to protect its workers. Good riddance and good luck in your job search.

It is funny how the same conservatives who have consistently claimed an employer should have absolute power and be able to fire anyone for any reason suddenly changing their tune when it effects them.
Hey “Drop in the Bucket” at GE? 😁

GE Halts Vaccine Mandate After Ruling, But Raytheon Keeps It

(Bloomberg) -- General Electric Co. and a pair of large railroads suspended their employee vaccine mandates after a judge this week halted the Biden administration’s order requiring workers at federal contractors to get inoculated.

They didn't stop it because they were losing too many workers. Explain how what I said was false.

It’s not a “drop in the bucket” anymore now is it? Explain.

WOW! A company has stopped doing something that cost it money to do because a court said that it did not have to do it. What an absolutely unprecedented event.

And GE didn't stop doing it because of what the workers did (a point that you conveniently, deliberately, and knowingly "overlook").

But we knew that before they started. Evidently moral reasons for doing so need not apply.

Since when did "morality" enter the picture when dealing with the fiduciary duty of corporate governors to maximize shareholders' returns?

The decision making tree is

[1] Will this increase profits?
If "Yes" go to [2]
If "No" go to [6]
[2] Is this legal?
If "Yes" go to [3]
If "No." go to [6]
[3] Is this moral?
If "Yes" go to [4]
If "No" go to [5]
[4] Do it.
[5] Do it.
[6] Don't do it.

This is a growing trend in America. People are pushing back. Over 750 walkout in protest
——

Employees at the General Electric Complex in Greenville, South Carolina, along with 750 GE employees in Ohio, conducted a walk out around 10:45am Thursday to protest the company’s vaccine mandate. Media have mostly been silent except for a few local reports.

GREAT! all of America should be as brave as that and stand up to the totalitarian thuggery of this repressive regime.

How many walked back in?
How many were on a break or lunch.

How many plan to stay out and not return to work?

favorite and overused words by conservatives: stand up, totalitarian, thuggery and regime. All that is missing is Marxists
Sorry, I forgot. Leftists are MARXIST thugs. I won't make that mistake again of calling them for the Marxists they really are. Thanks for being so alert.

More dead Americans.
