Looking back on that presidency, I hope that what it ultimately serves as is an example of what the low bar is for modern presidents and that we not cross that line ever again. From a policy perspective he wasn't the worst president ever, but his unique contribution was bringing out the worst in a lot of people. He brought out the worst from his supporters and the worst from his detractors.
