Gas is the lowest since 2020, really?

Gasoline prices have increased over 5% in my state in the past month alone.

Only trumptards will be "happy" about the "news" in the OP.
Possibly. Nationally gas is up about 1% according to AAA. Which state?

My city went from $2.71 to $2.74 for regular in the last month. No increase for my state.

I understand that. Was just wondering how many and which cars are manufactured to run optimally on 87.

Hmm…

The vast majority of vehicles on the road today are designed to run on 87 octane (regular) gasoline, making it the most common fuel type for everyday drivers. A 2016 AAA study found that 70% of U.S. drivers owned vehicles that require regular gasoline, a figure supported by the fact that most standard engines are built for 87 octane fuel and do not need higher grades for optimal performance.

Honda
Have you heard that vehicles with turbochargers often require premium gasoline? Honda Civic, Honda Accord, and Honda CR-V models have been made available with turbocharged engines, but even here, gasoline with an octane rating of 87 is the recommendation you’ll find in your owner’s manual. So, can you put premium gas in a Honda Civic? Yes, but do you need to? No.

Toyota
Many people believe that using a high octane or premium gasoline (90 or higher octane) is beneficial for their Toyota. However, the fact is that no Toyota, except for the Toyota Supra with a BMW engine, and now the new Land Cruiser, require a grade of gasoline higher than 87 octane. The electronic control module of most Toyotas is tuned to operate efficiently with 87 octane fuel.

In summary, it is best to stick to the recommended 87 octane fuel for your Toyota. This is the peak efficiency level for your vehicle.

Currently Arizona statewide average is $3.21 / gal 87 octane.

And yet, when prices where high from 2020-2024, the Trumplicans did not blame the states.
guess again:

There was no guessing necessary.

MAGAs howled like scorched cats about high gas prices between 2020-2024. They were not blaming the states for it.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. You seem to forget dems took control in 2021 and prices started going up. You seem NOT to understand those prices, e.g. taxes, are driven BY THE STATE infrastructure.

Don't tell me I'm wrong, tell the MAGAs who blamed Biden for gas prices.

I have heard this on the local and national news. First, 2020 for those who forgot with your short memories, we were in the grip of Covid. People were not traveling and thus not buying gas. As normal, with our economy, when demand drops, so did prices. Crude oil at the time was going for 30 dollars a barrel or less and some countries could not give it away, so trying to compare 2020 prices for gas to any time since is like comparing apples to elephants.
And then saying gas is lower than any time since 2020 is wrong. Gas around me is going for about $3.20 cents a gallon. Just 9 months ago we were paying between $2,65 and $2.75. I do not know what other parts of the country were paying for gas between now and 2020, but I suspect the statement that now it is cheaper than any time since then is also false.
The last time I bought gas which would have been last week was $2.45.

So were the Democrats responsible for the price hikes or were there other things going on that led to them?
:)

probably hot an "either/or". situation but Dem's massive spending probably helped.

Yes, a few states have not seen lower prices.

You post a link that shows that gasoline prices have risen in almost every state. LOL.

I doubt that was the "flex" that you thought it was.

Typical of a trumpist/cultist, not so typical of those utilizing logic and reason though. 🤷‍♂️

Obama was President for the entirety of 2016.
