Old people watch a lot of tv.
Old people are overwhelmingly conservative.
/End Thread.
What does that tell you after their lifetime of experience?
It tells me older generations grew up in a more conservative society and are used to it. Instinctually, human beings are afraid of change. It has nothing to do with "wisdom" as you seem to imply.
I was far more Liberal when I was in my late teens and 20's than I am now
But as I aged and experienced the real world I grew more Conservative
Or I grew up.
Like I said, instinctually humans are afraid of change and that becomes clear as they grow older and witness those changes.
Or I grew up.
It tells me older generations grew up in a more conservative society and are used to it. Instinctually, human beings are afraid of change. It has nothing to do with "wisdom" as you seem to imply.
Some, like myself, have become more liberal as we grew older.
Take gay rights for example. Most young kids of the 80s and 90s looked down on homosexuals or anyone who is "different." When those kids got older they began to embrace the difference and honor the rights of others.
Among single stations FOX does lead, it is about the only National "news" stations. Now add up the Liberal and Conservative stations and then the numbers are no longer in the favor of FOX or any conservative station. When Cons lead is in radio talk shows/stations, there the Cons rule among the faithful.
And young people lack the wisdom to know that change for the sake of change can be very destructive.
Why don't you tell me what wisdom is involved in fixing something that already works?
What does that tell you after their lifetime of experience?
Ummm . . . what?
Some young people are certainly idealistic and misguided at times. Then again, an inventor can go through thousands of experiments before getting the perfect result. Conservatives would rather not experiment at all.
Senility is a terrible thing.
Too confusing for you?
Add up the number of FOX viewers then add up the viewers of the "Liberal" news stations, so who are the majority of viewers watching? Clue: it is not FOX.
What, specifically, are you referring to?
Senility is a terrible thing.
