I think most people just want a leader who steps up to the plate and does his job! No one wants Putin to run this country, but he is proving himself to the world as a leader, and whether or not you agree with him, he appears to be succeeding in doing that!

Yes, of course. My pro-gay marriage stance, my criticism of those who criticize Obama over stupid things, my support of the man's "vacation" time, my non-criticism of his immigration stance, my lack of support for the Iraq War going back 11 years, my being non-religious, my pro-choice stance, my intent to vote for the Democratic governor in my state...all of that adds up to me being on the "Far Right".

Of course people want a leader. Obviously the point being made in the video bottom lines at "why are we letting someone like Putin be the leader?" I guess that is difficult to understand when so much noise is clouding one's judgement.

You're willfully misinterpreting what others have said. Is there any question that Putin is a decisive leader? This isn't to say that anybody likes, much less admires, what he's doing. I don't know anybody who admires Putin...he's ex-KGB and cravenly, despicably ambitious. But that doesn't mean he's not decisive. He is.

You and others really are embarrassing yourselves on this thread with all the Putin-loving stuff. Oh, and deliberately misinterpreting what Guilfoyle said and intended. Keep beating this little molehill, though, because it represents the second-hand paucity of your ideas.

That's because the linear political chart is rather insufficient for pinpointing political beliefs. It works for the controlled opposition going on in mainstream politics, but anything that doesn't fit in the two party paradigm is viewed as indecisive on a linear scale.
