Former Keystone Pipeline worker says US energy crisis is result of Biden's policies: 'We tried to warn you'

Not if prices go down. We're screwed as long as there's a Democrat anywhere in the US government.

Since the value of oil has risen dramatically, do you support raising the price we charge to drill on federal lands?

In December 2018, the US achieved for the first time energy independence, becoming a net exporter. Joe Biden destroyed that on day 1 with the stroke of a pen. The idiot left is so invested in destroying Trumps legacy that they dont give a damn that they are destroying the country.

As a result of ending the ban on exporting US crude therefore exposing US consumers to dramatic swings in prices at the pump...

Gas prices were as low as 1.60 a gallon in some states...and a national average of 2.36 per gallon. Since Biden took over gas proces have steadily increased because of his inept leadership, hatred and spite...and you own that shit. As bad as it is...its only going to get worse. YOU 'people' own that shit. You cheer it on.

Amazing how actually addressing a pandemic returns a market. Question for the "free market" supporters: Now that oil is worth much more, should we increase prices of drilling permits on federal lands?

The lunacy of the left to try to pretend this is anything but Bidens responsibility is dangerous. Its the kind of derangeed shit that had them supporting corrupt investigations and impeachments built on lies. For all their bleating about fascism...they are the building blocks of a fascist government.

Biden, more so his administration, is beholden to the Green Energy religious zealots due to the Faustian bargain made to get Biden elected. Now, as a result of that, the nation and the electorate will suffer from those malicious Green Energy policies.

Oil is one of the best products for theory to be shown in practice

Supply and demand for a fungible product that is shipped world wide. Any increase or decrease in supply or demand generally has impacts right away as long term storage is not economic. It is also an inelastic product as neither demand or supply can be changed quickly in the short term
I'm old enough to remember when an uptick in the price of a barrel of oil took a couple of weeks to hit the pumps. Today speculation in the markets can cause a ten or fifteen cent rise overnight. Neither supply nor demand has changed but the price sure has.

That is a different market entirely than the oil market. Local prices have a lot of collusion between retailers generally informal

I asked you about this before. Show your work.

It is the oil market. When the future price of a barrel of oil rose it took a couple of weeks for that oil to go from the well to the gasoline pump and then the price increase hit. Today it doesn't matter what the price of a barrel of oil is, as soon as it goes up so do the prices at the pumps even though that oil has already been paid for.

I think the increase tracking the increased oil price has always been quick, the decrease tracking a oil price decrease has usually been quite slow!
